All The Questions You've Asked About Training Your Horse, Answered.

How many bad habits does your horse have?

From:
Phil Tragear

Dear Horsey Friend,

The dream of a wonderfully obedient horse who is a joy to ride and care for is the common dream of all horse owners.  But you have a problem with your horse, right?  That's why you're
here.  Most people buy a horse and come up against at least one frustrating problem that is
too difficult for them to solve.

You do your best but it's not enough.

Imagine knowing that today when you visit your horse, the whole time will be harmonious and
FUN.  Wouldn't that be FABULOUS?

How would it feel to relax and enjoy your time with your horse? No fear, no stubborness, no biting, no charging, no rushing, no refusing ... your horse pleased to see you... ears pricked, eyes bright, working happily...  How great would that would be....?

And imagine feeling completely safe around your horse.... confident that your horse is bombproof... calm in traffic, quiet around dogs... happy out on the trail on his own... A horse to be proud of and enjoy.

And then you quit daydreaming and get back to reality...
It doesn't have to be like that.

All in all, your book has been terrific.  It has shown me a kinder more connected way to break and train my horses.  I am from a very long line of Thoroughbred Trainers and Jockeys and I knew there was a better way. Thanks for everything.

Janine Cadalbert, Scone,  Australia

Say goodbye to any bad habits or misbehaviors from your horse.

Wouldn't it be great if you knew where to start with your training?
If you knew how to find the cause and the solution to your horse troubles?
If you had a list of all the areas you need to cover and how to train them?
Somewhere to turn to for all the advice you need?  A resource that had tried and tested solutions to all your horse problems?  Something that was put together for ordinary horse owners on their own to help them with all the fundamentals, and more?
A horse training reference bible?

Say hello to the co-operative horse you want.

That's exactly what this book does.  "Horse Training Success" covers everything you need to
know on how to train your horse.  You want a willing, trustworthy companion?  This book is full of the practical information and tips that you can start using to form the partnership you want the very next time you visit your horse.  The insights and solutions are presented in simple language and broken down into easy to follow steps.

Unlike any other book you've ever read on training your horse.

Why?
Because every section in the book is there because "you asked for it." Well, not "you" personally. But because real live horse loving people asked for answers that really work to their real live horse problems.  After tonnes of research, all the solutions to all the questions were put together into one place. This comprehensive reference book.

I am enjoying the content and want to thank you for not putting a lot of filler in your writing. We train and start colts & fillies and train for trial.  I have been studying Natural Horsemanship for 8 years.
Lucinda Baker, Bend, Oregan, USA.

All the answers in one place.

So this book is a big answer book.  Thanks to the combined wisdom of many contributors, the psychology of modern Natural horsemanship and the secret techniques of an original horse whisperer, you end up with ANSWERS THAT WORK EVEN FOR BEGINNERS!

Which means no fluff. Just the real answers you want to know. You'll discover all types of
exciting tips that you can actually use. From catching... to biting... to what to do if a horse bolts. From when and how to start lunging ... to dealing with a food-mad horse!

Plus the 21 step blueprint for your horse's 'breaking in' and 'ground manners' to
be complete, and how to teach them.

If you are training your horse, then you'll want to know exactly what to cover and how to go
about teaching him. There are 21 tasks your horse should be able to perform without fuss for
his basic training to be complete.  Do you know what they are?  Find out in "Horse Training
Success", AND get the step by step instructions for training each and every one.  It's your
blueprint to get the wonderful riding companion you want.

I have found your book very useful. I have read it more then 4 times to get a good understanding of what and how to do. I have 2 Mustangs that I am working with.
When I got them I looked all over for help. Your book is what I found to be the help I needed. I don't have as much time as I should to work with them but it is coming along. I have both gentled, and starting to saddle them.
I still need to get some ground work done on them. And with this book I am sure I will be on the trail soon with them. I enclose PICS of one of them on her first saddle and first mount. The other is working on hitching. Thanks Again.

John Bartz, Apache Jct, AZ, USA

I would just like to say how helpful I have found your training guide.  I recently bought a 14 month old New Forest gelding that was ok to walk on a lead rope and approach in the field, but would not have his feet picked up for love nor money. So I read your part on repetitive learning and tried this on him. ...he has finally got it.  That doesn't just mean his feet. I have used it on many other things with him too. Many, many thanks.

'Horse Training Success' is well worth its money. It is written in easy-to-understand language and clearly set out.
  Christine Norton, Feilding, New Zealand.

What's a resource like this worth?

So what is a solution-based resource for dealing with your horse training issues like this worth?  With the why and how of each issue explained in PLAIN English. Which means it's dead-easy to read and understand. And it's logically laid out.
How much is a one day clinic with a guru trainer? (US$700 MINIMUM!!)
How much could you spend on having your horse professionally trained for a month? ($eek!!)
How much could you spend on just a handfull of personal lessons? How much are other resources out there retailing for? (over US$100) Which is why "Horse Training Success" is such a bargain at US$49

A bargain for you.

That's right, a fraction of what it's really worth and a fraction of what you could pay elsewhere for the same results. So why would I make it so affordable? Because my costs to deliver the information to you are kept low thanks to the wonders of the internet. This way more people like you get access to this fantastic resource (which if you follow the tips contained in its pages could save you thousands of dollars easily in the next few months) and are set free to fully enjoy their horse. US$49 is a drop in the ocean compared to what you could pay in trainer fees or personal tuition. Did I mention that the book includes the secrets behind the horse whisperers?

With the advantage of instant access.

And there's no waiting to get started because Horse Training Success is delivered instantly as
an ebook (pdf), readable on any computer - just download it and read. And of course you can print it out if you want.  A physical version will be published at some stage, but not just yet!

Excellent book.  It sets out in sufficient detail the steps to effective training and horsemanship, without wandering into hyperbole or unnecessary theory.  Thanks for making it available in such a simple method and for it's clarity.
 Ross MacInnes,Calgary, Alberta.

Two Special Bonuses Included

1. 'The Art of Training Horses' is the complete lifetimes work of the original horse whisperer, world renowned horseman,  trainer of deadly untrainable horses, JS Rarey.  This book is the original, absolute classic of the art of horse whispering.  When it was first published over 100 years ago, it was totally groundbreaking.  And this was a time when everyone was familiar with horses, relying on them every day.

Mr Rarey would go from town to town taming horses that were so bad tempered and dangerous they were about to be shot.  And he'd achieve this in just a few hours.  He called it 'gentling'.  This book, which explains what he did, how he did it and why, was a runaway success.  JS Rarey's methods have stood the test of time and still work wonders today.  Many successful trainers and modern horse whisperers use Rarey's techniques themselves - not that they advertise this!

This version has been updated into modern, readable English for your convenience.  It contains many, many priceless gems on bombproofing, taming vicious habits, and basic training from stabling to leading to tying to saddle-breaking.  This book could easily be sold on it's own!

2. A three page report on the best horse training resources online.  This report contains helpful descriptions and links to all the most useful forums, articles & guru trainers.  All at your fingertips.  If a resource isn't included, it's because it's not worth your time.  This is a report which I have personally researched and believe to contain more valuable information than you can poke a stick at.  A real useful bonus on top of all the other fabulous information already offered.

I loved your book. My brother's in-laws recently bought a house that came with a horse much to their surprise and excitement. They are letting me go over whenever I want and ride/take care of Tazzy. They have also acquired a 9 month old colt recently. Your book is really helping me get up to speed and refresh my memory on several things. I also put it out for them to read. It's helping a ton!
Thanks,

Melissa Grablovic, Fort Thomas, KY

Reinforced things I knew while adding new perspectives. Taught me to see some things I didn't know were there.
Thanks.
Kevin Kistler
Ocean Park, WA, USA.

I would just like to say that your book was great!  I am currently breaking in 3 horses ranging from 13hh to 15.3hh with all very different natures.

The smallest one is a shocking biter and your section on this has all but gotten him to stop and that's no mean feat, as his original owners called him 'Monster' because he came out biting.  I used the water squirt and he has really sharpened up.  He is a very dominant natured little man and I have  been giving him heaps of ground work. He was ear lugged and smacked around the head a lot as a baby and is very distrusting, so it is taking me a while regain that trust, but as you say, PATIENCE PATIENCE.  I start my morning with patience and if I feel that I am not getting the desired results, we finish on something simple that he knows and finish on a good note.  I am only just riding him now. I have been on three times for three pigroots and a lot of sour look backs, but once again have been using your technique and it is working.  My hack is out doing beautifully.

Janine Cadalbert
Scone, Australia.

I received & have read a good portion of your book, and I think it's great. I grew up riding ponies, then didn't ride horses for
years.  I'm now 48 years old and just this past summer got 2 horses and a little pony (for my grandkids).  I thought since I grew up riding, I pretty much knew what I was doing.  WRONG!!!  Oh I knew how to ride the ponies when I was young, but I didn't know anything ABOUT horses or training them.  So basically I'm a greenhorn who knows a little about riding, and I'm starting from the ground up.  Your book has been a wonderful resource for me, teaching me foundational things
that I wouldn't even think to research.
So far I've only really needed the info in the first half to 2/3's of the book, but I look forward to utilizing the rest as I progress with my horses in the spring and summer.
Thanks for a terrific resource, from an old beginner!
Kerri Barclay
Washington State, USA

Thank you for the excellent book.It works exactly as you tell it,from the mouth movements while digesting a new lesson to being a well behaved horse!  The horse owner should however have plenty of patience and then some more. As you say it takes as long as it takes, but when it falls into place then you come to mind. I have a 3 year old mare that I have applied your lessons to and am very happy with the results.  Once again thank you very much.
W.M.Bird,
South Africa.
