It is said that about 80% of medical problems of reptiles are the result of bad husbandry. I've personally witnessed hundreds of people having problems keeping Bearded dragons. We have seen them all, from incorrect husbandry (i.e. lighting, supplementation, temperature, veggies and unnecessary exposure) right through to really diseased individuals. It is true, most of the problems were due to incorrect keeping. I've been on call from my websites and literally helped hundreds of keepers, both experienced and novice in the the right direction. A big problem we've encountered over the years was the fact that it is not always the keeper not knowing how to maintain their Beardies, but keepers being told nonsense from the start! Bearded dragons are extremely hardy and loyal pets, but they can only handle so much. Unfortunately you only hear those problems weeks to months later when it is too late to reverse the symptoms. A lot of these animals are incurable and they die! I've written this eBook specifically with these preventable problems and other frequently asked questions in mind.
