Fear and anxiety become your constant companions, and you spend much of your time vacillating between panic and terror because you feel so powerless over your circumstances, not to mention ashamed and embarrassed when you have to keep asking for help again and again!
Sound familiar? I’ve been there too; you are not alone!
In fact, I refer to myself as a former "lack-aholic".
From as far back as I can remember, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with money. I loved it, and it hated me! (Or at least it seemed to avoid being in my life as much as possible.)
Honestly, I used to believe that I just wasn’t working hard enough.
I believed with all of my heart that if I could just summon the will and stamina to work really hard for a long period of time, I’d have plenty of money. I thought I just needed to “get ahead” and everything would be fine.
All around me, I saw other people who seemed to have no trouble accumulating money. Many of them worked hard and seemed to be compensated very well for their effort. Why not me too?
Sometimes, my plan would actually work and I’d pull ahead of the endless bills and even be able to set a little money aside for a rainy day. Of course, I was too exhausted to really enjoy my newfound abundance - but still pleased to be making progress.
But somehow, those occasional streaks of prosperity never lasted long. Eventually my endurance would give out and I’d find myself once again struggling to make ends meet.
Long story short, I chased wealth through hard work for many years before I finally realized the sad truth. . . I was never going to catch up to it!
The harder I pursued abundance, the farther it danced out of my reach. All I got for my trouble was chronic health issues and a lot of fatigue.
Finally, I began to realize that hard work is a temporary fix, at best. It may work in a pinch but it’s definitely not sustainable over the long-term (not without sacrifices, anyway).
What DOES work is learning how to naturally attract abundance.

I didn’t either until I began studying abundance and prosperity principles several years ago. What led me in that direction was nothing less than desperation to figure out what I was doing wrong.
You see, throughout my years of hard work and sacrifice, I always had a nagging feeling that I was missing something. There was some vital insight I couldn’t quite grasp – but I knew it was there! I could feel it. I knew I didn’t have all of the pieces of the puzzle yet.
I was determined to find the missing piece, even if it took years of dedicated research. As it turns out, it did take years – but the results were so impressive that it was well worth the wait!
The Difference Abundance Can Make
What a stark contrast exists between financial lack and financial abundance! If you’ve had the pleasure (or terror) of experiencing both conditions at various times, you can really appreciate the difference.
When you don’t have enough money, life seems so dark and difficult. The smallest challenge becomes a formidable mountain in your path. It takes all of your energy and willpower just to survive each day, let alone trying to come up with a plan for tomorrow and the next day!
Ah, but when you have enough money, everything becomes fluid and calm. Suddenly you can breathe again. You feel lighter, freer, happier. You delight in taking care of your financial obligations, planning for the future and enjoying your life once again.
Here’s an important truth: When it comes right down to it, we don’t give a hoot about money itself – we care about what it can DO FOR US! We care that having enough of it makes us feel in control. That inner feeling of security and peace and comfort is worth more than all the gold in the world!
When was the last time you felt that way, anyway?
Unfortunately, most of us are programmed with limiting beliefs about money from an early age.
We’re taught that we have to work hard for money, that “money doesn’t grow on trees,” and that “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer”.
You probably have plenty of your own limiting beliefs you can add to those.
BUT – what if these things aren’t necessarily true? What if your limiting beliefs are merely false perceptions that are blocking your natural ability to attract the abundance you desire?
How To Know If You Are Blocking Abundance
If you suspect you may be blocking abundance from entering your life, take a look at these common symptoms and compare them to your own life:
The only way you seem to get ahead financially is by working long, hard hours.
No matter how hard you work, it still isn't enough.
The more money you bring in, the more that seems to flow OUT.
You find your expenses constantly increasing as your income does.
You frequently have financial "emergencies" that empty whatever savings you've managed to accumulate.
You yearn for more free time to do the things you love, but feel pressured into working harder and harder.
The constant worry and strain becomes tedious but you feel powerless to change it.
You have a sneaking suspicion that you must be missing something important, but can't quite figure out what it is.
In your heart you know you are capable of much more than you've achieved so far but can't seem to get where you want to be.
You keep sabotaging any efforts you make to create a more abundant lifestyle.
No matter how hard you try to change, you keep slipping back into old, destructive habits.
. . . and the list goes on!
The bottom line is, when you block abundance, you will experience one setback after another no matter how hard you try to turn it around.
Until you have that vital missing piece to the puzzle, you are doomed to repeat the same cycles of lack over and over and over again!

Your subconscious mind is always running beneath your conscious awareness. It's the part of your mind that perceives the world around you and compares what you see and experience to an inner set of "rules" that make up your existing beliefs.
If you try to absorb something that is in opposition to your beliefs, a conflict arises.
Your subconscious mind does not like conflict, so it will automatically reject anything that doesn’t match your existing beliefs!
Do you know what that means? Your Current State of Abundance or Prosperity Right Now Is a Direct Result of Your Existing Beliefs About Money!
Do You Hold Limiting Beliefs About Money?
If you believe you deserve only so much abundance, you'll block more from arriving.
If you believe that prosperity and abundance can only come to you in certain ways (like through a job), you will not allow it to come in any other way.
If you believe that you have to work hard to get ahead, you'll simply attract more opportunities for hard work – but no prosperity by other means!
If you believe you never have enough money, you'll end up with "not enough" no matter what you do!
Your subconscious mind does not like change. It likes a stable, predictable world. Even though they are not serving your highest good, your limiting beliefs have become comfortable and predictable.
If you try to replace these limiting beliefs with more prosperous beliefs, your subconscious mind resists them!
That means . . . no matter how hard you try to change your beliefs about abundance and prosperity, your subconscious mind will resist, and nothing will change in your surroundings.
How Visualization Can Attract More Prosperity
Visualization is a powerful tool that can help deliver new messages to your subconscious mind by bypassing the limiting beliefs it already holds.
How?
Did you know that your subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between a mental image and physical reality? It experiences a visualization exercise in the same way it experiences your physical environment, or even a memory from your past – as unquestionable reality!
When you use visualization to feed your mind more prosperous beliefs and affirmative statements, it accepts them without question.

When I first discovered all this, I knew I had to find a way to release the heavy emotional burden I carried regarding money, AND I had to find a way to re-train my subconscious mind to attract prosperity.
I began experimenting with various techniques, tweaking and tweaking some more until I had a system that really worked. The result of my experimentation?
OVERWHELMING SUCCESS!
I was finally able to let go of my limiting beliefs and replace them with limitless possibilities!
I stopped being a slave to money and moved eagerly toward activities that filled me with joy and passion.
