Dear Colleague and Friend,
Luckily, one day I
came across a very interesting article by a young and promising internet
marketer. In his article, he explained one of his top secrets on how he makes
more than $30,000 a month, every month.
"The reason", he said,
"more than 90% of affiliates don't make money is, in part, because
they market highly competitive products.", and continued, "Until
you can accept this as truth, you will continue to chase after and market
very competitive products... and not make the serious money that can be made
from internet marketing."
"Oftentimes the
difference between success and failure is not the product and not the traffic.
It's the timing!"
And he continued, "So a good
idea when looking for affiliate products to sell is to look for the new,
unexposed products ones that have not been widely released".
This was my exact problem! I was selling the same products
that nearly all my competitors were selling, and most of all, they were already
bought by the majority of potential buyers. Although my web sites had received a
pretty massive stream of targeted traffic, there was no way I could make enough
sales, unless I had a way to find these killer products first.
Affiliate product
reviews weren't good enough, I mean, they did give good reviews, but the problem
was that they came too late. The minute I read them, my competitors also read
them, plus, the reviews couldn't cover all the new products available, but only
a few selected ones. I had to get my hands on this information much earlier than
that.
If only there was a tool that could do all this:
Find new affiliate products, those that have
just been released.
Find unexposed products, those that are
already in the market, but don't have many affiliates and don't sell
many copies.
Find overexposed products. I don't want to
waste my time and money in promoting them. Those products already
have too many affiliates, sell too many copies, and sometimes you
can even see that their sales are
declining!
Find all the products with a specific
keyword and/or from a certain category or niche, and let me have one
single list of all these products (without working too hard to find
them!)
Show me the affiliate margin, the percent I
would earn from every sale.
Give me immediate access to the affiliate
product sales page, so I could read and evaluate its potential right
away.
Like many others, I know
that ClickBank publishes a list of products, in categories, ranked by their
sales popularity, and that they update the list about once a week. Every week,
you can know how every product has performed relative to others.
How Clickbank's ranking system works?
In Clickbank's web site products are ranked by their
"productivity score". To preserve the integrity of the system Clickbank doesn't
publish the exact formula for the score, but they say that it is a function of
three factors:
1. The number of sales of that product generated by affiliates.
2. The number of affiliates who made those referrals.
3. The total dollar volume earned by affiliates on those sales.
All factors are combined, and adjusted such
that more recent sales activity is given greater weight. Products are not listed
until at least one has been sold.
In Clickbank's web site you can see only the
last ranking, and you can't tell which affiliate products were added lately,
which are new.
What if there was a way or a tool that could extract the new
affiliate products from the ClickBank product list, and even better, show how
the product is doing, in terms of sales and success, so you can choose, based on
accurate infomation, which affiliate products to sell, and by that improved your
earnings?
