Learn How To Improve Your eBay Auctions With This Step-By-Step Guide That Takes You From Finding Inventory To Post Auction Management and Beyond . . .

Letter from the Author, Elaine Krieg Smith

Dear fellow booklover,
I see so many booksellers working their fingers to the bone putting up hundreds of auctions that don't sell. Overall sell-through for book auctions on eBay is only 38-39% (mine is typically 82-100% for auctions). And when they do sell, the fees consume the profit because they are selling $4 books.

It doesn't have to be that way.

Over the years, I observed and tested many book auctions on eBay. As I saw the patterns of successful auctions, I implemented them in my own selling with profitable results.

For years, I shared my insight with online friends. Now YOU can benefit because I compiled and organized this information into one concise ebook.

With the Proper Selling Strategies, You Can Make Your Book Selling Business Work.
Do you know the right time to start your book auction at 99 cents and when to start it at $99?

You will learn the criteria to use to make this judgment call.

Do you know why most who use BUY-IT-NOW for collectible books are throwing money away?

You will have access to my research and learn when BINs should be avoided.

Do you know when it is important to use more than one image of your book in your auction?

When you use the right photos at the right time, your ending price can increase dramatically.

"The ebook was very thorough in explaining every single detail and step from the beginning to end. There were lots of great tips on how I could make improvements to what I was already doing. Very easy to read and understand.

I wish I had this ebook when I started out 4 years ago, I would have saved so much time figuring it out on my own through trial and error! I so highly recommend it to anybody starting out, it's like having a mentor walking you through each step of the way right there with you. Even if one is an advanced seller, there is always room for improvement from reading this ebook."

You'll Have Happy, Loyal Customers Which Means Higher Profits For You . . .

Do you know how to get repeat customers? How many times have you heard a happy customer tell you she has put you on her favorite seller's list and PLEASE let her know when you list more books?

Many times I have checked the competition to see that their auction of the same book closed with no sale EVEN THOUGH THEIR STARTING PRICE WAS LOWER THAN MINE! Loyal customers will buy from you without even looking at competing auctions.

Your Sell-Through Rate Will Increase When One Buyer Happily Bids On Multiple Auctions . . .

Would you like your customers to order not just one book but two, three or ten? You will learn the steps to encourage this. Many buyers will not bid on just one book because the shipping (on just one book) makes the price less attractive. Bookbuyers love to buy multiples to save on shipping, yet I see SO FEW SELLERS TAKING THESE STEPS. They are leaving money on the table.

You can discover the key to having winners of multiple auctions. Why ship twenty packages when you can ship seven? The customers save on postage, but you save on time and packing materials. This means MORE PROFIT for you.

You can do this.

Below is a screenshot of auctions of books purchased at Goodwill and library booksales.

These auctions grossed $293.24. I paid $7.50 for the books. Deduct $21.57 for eBay fees and $4.69 for PayPal fees = $259.48 net profit.  My sell-through was 100% and the average price per book was $29. These were just ordinary thrift store books and some of them were in poor condition.  Your results may vary.  You may not always sell every book (I don't) but I do know that if you use the principles outlined in my book you can improve your sell-through and profits.
Read this letter from a brand new eBay seller:

"Hi Elaine,

I wanted to send a quick note to let you know how my first auctions went. Remember, I had an eBay feedback of 7 when I started this, and that was all from buying. I had never sold anything before.

. . . I sold 17 of the 19 listings for a total of $246.95. My profit on this group was $207.69! This was enough to cover the cost of my scanner, the cost of your book, shipping supplies, and still have about $30 left over! I was especially happy with my sell through rate. I still have so much to learn, but what a great way to start!

I never could have done this without your book. Thanks again for writing such a clear and helpful book. I have not received all my feedbacks yet, but the 14 who have responded have all given me positive feedback. Again, I know this is due to the communication and packing tips you provide in your book. THANK YOU and I wish you much success in your endeavors.

God bless,

Kelli in WA (kellog99)"

"Elaine,

First I want to say thanks . . . you pushed me off of the wall I was on.

Overall I would say your book challenged me to think beyond what I've stumbled into doing for years with eBay. You opened up a door to change and have caused me to evaluate how can I do this better and what can I do to increase my sales?

Feels like selling is a 2 part process - you have to get into your hands what you are to sell and then present it in such a way that people will want to buy it. . . until I read your book I didn't fully have that 2nd concept.

Had never thought about follow up. Had never thought of presenting it as a package. Always thought the only thing was finding the books and then listing them, getting the money and mailing them. You've shown me it's much more . . .

The about me page - oh my, this was a whole area I've absolutely never ever thought about. You blew my mind up on this one. My brain is overloaded even as I'm writing this. . . "

". . . info in a nutshell is great and I think those sections of your book are worth the price of admission. I've been selling on E Bay for a while and have read a lot of the books/newsletters/etc. but you provided me with new and very useful information.

This is a book I would recommend to novice and pro alike.  The style is great. . . not preachy. . . it's full of really great tips/ideas and you make it easy to put them to use.  I really liked your book Elaine. . . when compared to some of the others I've read, it's terrific and I've read a ton of them.  I also appreciate the fact that you're not pushing another "product" on every other line. . . I want info, not advertising and that's what you provided. "
