Do you need to take a $450 windsurfing lesson from the windsurf shops?
You DO NEED some windsurf lessons: to know where the wind comes from, so you don't keep falling off your board.
Does it has to cost $450 ?
NO, they make you pay $450, because you have to rent the windsurf material (and that's really expensive).
So there is an alternative way?
Yes there is! I took the alternative way!
What is that way?
I'll explain it to you:
When I started with windsurfing, my father didn't wanted to spend money on it because of the following reasons:
- it is too expensive
- you're going to quit in a few days
- you'll need to buy own material and only a board is already $800 - $2300 (depend which brand)
- Etc...
But I decided to do it. So I bought a windsurfing lesson ebook with windsurf videos for almost $90.
I learned a lot of it! Then I bought a complete windsurfingset , on ebay or amazone, within some old windsurf sails and a windsurfboard, with a boom, mast, EVERYTHING was complete, and that for only $200 !
Conclusion?
So in total I spend $360 (incl. wetsuit, harnass, shoes, etc...) and I have MY OWN material and I can practice WHENEVER I WANT ! I just load my material in my car and drive to any windsurf spot I want!
Proof?
I taught my sons windsurfing and they are doing very well. The youngest has already been first with 'the windexperience 2010' and 5th on 'the mission: final edition 2010 ' (the largest windsurf event in the Netherlands and Belgium). My 1 year older son was 4th with 'the windexperience 2010' and 13th on 'the mission: final edition 2010'. Scroll down for there results. (mys son 15 years old now anthony leyssens and 16 years old Kevin Leyssens)
They are doing so well that I decided to make my own windsurfing lesson ebook.

Are
Windsurf Lessons needed
to windsurf? Well, actually you don't have to take windsurf lessons in a school. Why not? They give you like 5 - 15 minutes of windsurf theory andthen they let you practise on a board and sail for 2 - 3 hours. And what have you actually learned? Only the theory! So you paid $450 for some windsurfing theory and renting of the windsurfing material. My experience? So I decided to windsurfand not to go to a school. I bought a windsurfing eBook and some windsurf videos. I paid in total €65 = $86. When I knew the theory, I wanted to buy some windsurfing material. So I bought all the equipment on ebay for $180. Conclusion? It is cheaper to buy a windsurfing eBook and some old material on ebay, amazon or any other site. AND you can surf unlimited.I've bought this eBook ( [click here](http://77dc84hbuluhqj6ujcld0jri0e.hop.clickbank.net/) There used to be a dutch one, but I can't find it anymore on the internet. Now I can windsurf (I do competition) andwant to make an eBook (windsurf lessons in dutch) that is with videos, pdf, and powerpoint. And that for only $15, click here for more information.
What Would You Wear For A Beginners Windsurfing
Lessons? Depending on where you go take windsurfing lessons the main clothing you should wear is a wetsuit. They are made from neopreen and available in different sizes, designs and colors. They are designed to isolate your body, so to keep it warm. There is a thin layer of water between your body and the suit, which is warmed by your body.Optionally you could wear: surfing shoes which give you good grip on the board, a life jacket that gives you extra buoyancy, some surfing gloves to protect your hands and keep them warm, a neopreen hat that keeps your head warm and a helmet to protect your head.So now you know what to wear if you are going to take some windsurfing lessons.
Can Windsurf Videos Be Useful?
Of course windsurf videos are useful! You can learn very much from videos and watching other people windsurfing. Sometimes a video can be clearer then an entire book. If you want to learn some tricks, videos can are the best way to learn them. You can pause the videos, make them bigger, slow it down, and other such things. In a book, they explain it with words, so it isn't so practical. Even if they put fotos, it isn't so evident. So in my opinion, watch alot of windsurfing videos
Can I Find Windsurfing Lesson All Over The World?
Sure, there is like 'mistral club' and they have windsurfing centers all over the world where you can rent material and take a windsurfing lesson. They have also kitecenters, so if you want to take a kite surfing course, you can do it there. The good thing is that the instructors need to have a certificate of windsurfing and EHBO. So you are always safe. You can rent the latest mistral and fanatic bords and sails. And they are alwaysin a very good condition. At all Club Mistral Centers you will find a wide range of different sails and sizes: from 3.4 m² to 8.8 m² - sometimes smaller, sometimes bigger, just depending on the spot and the wind conditions on site. leren windsurfen is helemaal niet moeilijk! iederen kan het leren. The centers have spare wetsuits and harnesses free of charge for voucher guests, however the availability is limited. Therefore they recommend bringing your own accessories - if you have some at home. Also surf shoes and life jackets are rented out at some centers, depending on stock availability and amount of lessons taking place. There could be other clubs that do that, but for windsurfing lesson, I recommend mistral club.
What are good windsurfing sails for starters?
It depends on your weight. If you want to learn a child windsurfing with a weight of 20 kg - 40 kg, then you should take windsurfing sails around 3m² - 4m². If you want to learn someone who weighs 50 kg - 60 kg then a 5m² should be good. For a beginner I would never take a bigger windsurfing sail than 6m². Even if he weighs 100 kg. Otherwise he may hurt himself with pulling the sail out of the water. For children I would recommend to buy a sail for children. The windsurfing sails for children usually are very light. They usually have a mast/pole from aluminum. This has the advantage that it is very light, so that the children do not hurt their backs.
What are good windsurfboards for starters?
Brand doesn't matter too much, but a learner board like a Starboard Start or Go will not date. You will advance quickly and be able to sail in confidence in most situations. When you feel you have reached the limits of the board you'll still want to keep it because your friends will be able to have a go on it and get started too. If you start off with a board, which is too challenging, you'll find the conditions don't always suit it, and you won't be able to let your friends try it. You'll also possibly end up with a board that you'll have no use for if you upgrade. I have a learner board which haul out to play on when the conditions are too light for anything else, and I can teach others on it. A good quality learner board holds its usefulness and can always be sold on. You can even put a big sail and fin on it and use it for racing. Buy a true modern learner board though, not some old 3m plus regatta board that someone says is a great beginner board.

Beginner Windsurfing lesson
– The Most Excellent Windsurfing Mast Support Author: Jerry Leyssens It is now clear that the most essential thing in starting your windsurfing should begin from getting the preliminary lessons. As soon as you are through with these, you will be faced with making a decision on the type of equipment to pay for. The first item that you will have to pay for is the windsurfing board. There are so many feature that you should think of ahead of paying for this board. Your first thought should be on your weight. Remember that a normal windsurfing board will be able to accommodate a weight of about seventy to eighty-three kilograms. This means that if you weigh more than this, you will not be able to have complete enjoyment of the windsurfing as you should have gotten. Windsurfing Boards for Learners If you are in search of an extra guideline when selecting a windsurfing board, you should concentrate on how fast it is that you will be able to learn and become skilled at windsurfing. Remember that you will only become more skilled at windsurfing if you find time to get out and practice what you have learned. leren windsurfen is zo gemakkelijk, je hebt een beetje theorie nodig, en dat is het, waarom dan $450 betalen. With this in mind, you should go in for something that will not only be durable, but that will be able to stand the test of wear and tear. Remember that the more often you make use of the windsurfing board, the more probable it is that it will be liable to damage. Therefore, the windsurfing board must be really strong. You should also know that most producers will profess that their windsurfing boards are good for learners as well as experts. But it should be noted that windsurfing boards for learners are heavier than those meant for experts. With these, you will not be able to enjoy windsurfing as you would have done with a lighter board. On the other hand, if you intend to learn gradually through some fun making and relaxation, you may opt for any of those windsurfing kits meant for learners. windsurfing lesson, you need them? YES, you need them, but it is cheap here! This is opposed to smaller and lighter windsurfing boards which are more proficient for expert use. With the lighter windsurfing boards, you should be able to become skilled at windsurfing in a more advanced and fast way. But remember that the final choice on the type of windsurfing board you pay for should be based on your weight and body mass. If you opt for the learner board, this will entail a more careful practice to become used to it. And as your skills progress, you can later opt for something which will give you room for a more proficient practice. Windsurfing Universal Joints to Reflect On windsurfing videos are available. windsurf videos are on the blog, for free! This is a windsurfing element that you should reflect on when you are about selecting a windsurfing board. Remember that the mast of windsurfs can only be maneuvered through the universal joint. In most cases, these have been known as the mast support. These are also in three main categories which are tendon, rubber and mechanical. To begin with, the tendon windsurfing mast support is what is to be had with two of more connectors. Examples of these connectors include the US support of the Euro pin support. This type of mast support is commonly used by expert windsurfers. Remember that this is due to their flexibility and force.
