Well Being at the Workplace

Are you experiencing problems with your back, neck, or body
while at work?
Most people do, which is why I wrote this book. My name is Paolo
Manneschi, and I am a physical therapist from Florence, Italy. ()
Through my various interactions with co-workers who are forced to sit
at desks most hours of the day, I learned of a great need many people
have; finding a way to keep their bodies fit with limited time and
space while at the workplace.
Because of this, I was inspired to design a series of simple
stretching exercises you can to do right at your desk. Exercises that
can help improve blood circulation, release pain and stress on the
back and neck, reduce symptoms of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, and more.
What You Will Learn in this Book
You will be guided through a series of exercises, starting with
explanations of how your muscles and nervous system work. You will go
onto breathing and meditation exercises, followed by stretches for
your neck and back.
You will continue down through your body with your next set of
exercises focused on the arms, hands, and torso. The following
exercises will move to the upper and lower back. Then you will be
guided through several leg exercises, which will dove-tail into
stretches designed specifically for your abdomen and torso. The
instruction finishes up with several standing stretches and breathing
exercises.
The book includes over 25 exercises presented in series, with
detailed explanations and illustrations of each movement. The
exercises are designed to be quick and easy and can be performed by
just about anyone.
Reader Reviews
It Really Helped
"I was amazed how this book could help so much. I've been having
problems with my back lately. Paolo addresses several specific
problems of posture that I was doing. I learned a few changes for how
I sit, and some easy exercises that I like. It really feels good. Try
it. "

Highly recommended. Quick read with immediate results
"I work in software design and spend most of my time at a computer.
My arms were beginning to hurt. Probably a little Carpel Tunnel
starting. I tried the exercises and it has helped. I'd recommend this
book to anyone who sits at a desk too much."
