Just over ten years ago, on 13 August 1996, a young man stood in
front of 600 faceless students during morning assembly to give a
speech.

him a card to cheer him on. One of the lines in the card read "I am
sure your speech will enchant everyone during the assembly and leave
an impression!"
Now, I'm not too sure about the "enchanting the audience" part but
the young man certainly left an impression!
The mere sight of so many people looking at him was enough to send
butterflies though his stomach and a lump in his throat. Needless to
say, the young man stumbled through his introduction and forgot half
his speech Thankfully, he was finally escorted offstage by a terribly
embarrassed principal.

story of my very first public speech.

championship title for the Division Level Humorous Contest in
Philadelphia, United States. Then two years later, I clinched the
First Place Trophy for the International Speech Contest at Division

What's more, I've had the honor to coach over 3,000 students,
executives and entrepreneurs on public speaking and the results have
