Hi,

I'm Dr. Glenn Sheiner.

As a medical doctor I’ve always been interested in educating patients about their health.

During the past 2 years, I’ve spent a great deal of time researching how to best teach people to use the internet to find the most current, up-to-date information on cancer and cancer treatment.

The result is my new multimedia product CANCER RESEARCH ONLINE MADE EASY.

Dear Glenn,
Great Job!
Your book Cancer Research Online Made Easy is very interesting. I was very impressed by the way you made the medical research so easy for non-medical people. I myself learned great things about how to get the up-to-date medical information.
In my busy family practice, sometimes I don't have enough time to explain different aspects of a newly diagnosed cancer, so I'm going to recommend your book for every patient.
The video tutorials were amazing, they made the book very attractive.
Thanks Glenn very much for giving me the chance to download the book.
Dr. Sarwat Ibrahim,Toronto, Canada

This product is composed of an 147 page Ebook and 5 “step-by-step” video tutorials. In the Ebook, I show you what information you need to know, what sites to go to, and exactly what to do when you visit these sites. In the video tutorials, you’ll actually watch my computer screen and hear my voice as I teach you step-by-step how to search for the latest cancer information.

Watch the videos and hear me teaching. It’s as if you’re my patient, sitting with me, in my office.

You might want to know how a long-time physician with diplomas in emergency medicine, family medicine, and sports medicine became interested in researching the medical literature to help patients with cancer.

My interest began when a close family friend was stricken with cancer a few years back. Obviously, I wanted to help.

It seemed to me at the time, that using the internet to research a medical disease would be a simple thing to do. I imagined that I would type in the type of cancer I was researching in a search engine such as Google and that all the information I needed would be in one place.

Even though there are some great medical websites, I found searching the internet for cancer treatment information extremely frustrating and confusing.

I was confused and frustrated for a number of reasons:

There were so many medical websites that would come up in a Google search that it was overwhelming;

There was a ton of information on most of the websites but it wasn’t clear to me what was important and what wasn’t;

As I learned more and more it became apparent to me that no single website  had all the information I needed and wanted;

The information on most medical websites is very dry and clinical but I knew I needed to find resources where patients were communicating with each other in plain English;

Although most of the information on medical websites seemed to have been written fairly recently, I was never sure that new research hadn’t just been published that wasn’t discussed;

Most cancer websites mention clinical trials but they don’t tell you that doctors are often paid to enroll their patients in clinical trials and, that there might be other clinical trials being conducted for the same disease which may be more promising;

Many of the latest advances that are only being used at certain medical centers aren’t listed on most cancer web sites.

None of the medical websites explained how a doctor would use the internet to search for the latest information if he himself were the patient.

So, I decided that I would continue investigating. And I decided that when I came up with a system I would pass it on to patients.

This is the result of all that hard work. Here’s what you’ll learn and get by reading my new Ebook CANCER RESEARCH ONLINE MADE EASY and watching the video tutorials:

I wanted to create a multimedia product that would make it easy for you to do the research you need.

There is no reason at all in today’s world for not trying to get the best medical care possible. And, the most critical ingredient is the knowledge of what the most current treatment options are. Once you have done your research, you won’t have to wonder if your doctor has read the latest article or is aware of all the clinical trials that are taking place.

And, I don’t mean to imply that doctors aren’t incredibly hard working and talented. It’s just that with the dizzying pace of medical research it’s almost impossible for anybody to be aware of every latest finding.

Whether we like it or not the practice of medicine is changing. The traditional dynamic has been that the doctor is the unquestioned expert and the patient passively accepts the doctor’s recommendations. This has been so because, up until now, it’s been nearly impossible for a patient to access the latest medical information easily.

In today’s world, the traditional dynamic between patient and doctor is changing. It’s becoming more and more common for patients to become partners in the decision-making about their treatment.

My goal in creating CANCER RESEARCH ONLINE MADE EASY was to help you become an informed patient.

And there are lots of benefits to being an informed patient:

Researching cancer online is a way to make sure that your doctors are up-to-date and offering you the absolutely best treatment regimens;

If your doctor suggests a clinical trial you’ll be able to find out if there are any other trials available;

You’ll be able to find out if any new, important medical articles have been published concerning the disease you’re researching;

Verifying that the treatment regimens you’re being offered are the best available will provide you with much needed reassurance and peace of mind;

Talking with other patients online who have gone through the same process will provide much needed emotional support;

These same patients may be able to provide you with the names of medical centers and doctors who are considered expert in the field;

Researching cancer online will make it easier for you to have earnest discussions with your doctor and feel like you are an equal partner in the decision-making about your treatment;

Knowing that you’re an informed partner in your treatment will make it more likely you’ll willingly follow through with all aspects of your treatment.

I don’t want you to have to re-invent the wheel when you research your disease. I don’t want you to get frustrated and give up. And I don’t want you to waste time. It’s too important.

That’s why I created CANCER RESEARCH ONLINE MADE EASY.

It’s a multimedia product composed of an 147 page Ebook in PDF format which can be viewed on any computer and 5 video tutorials in Macromedia Flash.  After reading this Ebook and watching the video tutorials, you should be able to get down the learning curve in a few hours. You’ll have to read some medical material, but you’ll be surprised at how easily you’ll be able to do it. Remember, you only have to become knowledgeable about one disease.

It’s the new internet technology that allows you to research your disease from anywhere in the world. And, I’m using the latest technology to teach you how to do it. That’s why you’re getting an Ebook with live links to key web sites and video tutorials that you can watch on your computer.

For those of you who don’t know already, an Ebook is an electronic book that you can immediately download onto your computer. You can buy it and begin reading 90 seconds after purchase.  Or, you can print it out and read it while you sit and sip a cup of coffee or tea.

And, I’ve included 5 video tutorials which you can watch on your computer while connected to the internet. In the videos you’ll watch my actual computer screen as I teach you how to do the searches I talk about in the book. You’ll hear my voice as I take you through every step.

My goal is to make it easy to gain access to the Ebook and video tutorials because I believe strongly that no one should be denied the best medical care possible. And, it’s my sincere belief that after reading my book, you’ll know exactly how to do cutting-edge online research and what questions to ask your doctor to ensure that the care you’re receiving is top notch.

This is a serious topic and I don’t want this letter to be viewed as too much hype.

Please read the letter carefully.

Technology is radically changing our daily lives and it’s starting to change the way patients and doctors interact. I want you to be at the leading edge.

I sincerely wish you and your family all the best,

Glenn Sheiner M.D.

PS. My goal is that you have exactly the same discussion with your doctor that another patient is having right now with the world's top expert in your disease.
