Now let me also say something else to you.
This website is dedicated to teaching people how to get free from their jobs. Seems a little contradictory, I know. But a job definitely has its place in the world and is often necessary. Just make sure you think of it as a band-aid as opposed to a long-term solution. Don’t find yourself under the illusion that your job will one day get you free because that’s simply not the case. Just take a look at a cross section of 65-year-olds today. It’s just not happening.
The opposite of freedom is bondage. You may love your job (and I think you should) but financially speaking, you’re in prison as long as you stay there. And if that’s where you are right now, there are things you should be doing to plan your escape. There are tunnels to begin digging, files to begin sneaking into your food and secret conspiracies to establish with other prisoners.
If you don’t start doing something, at some point, you’ll look down and realize your feet are “firmly planted” in corporate quicksand.
We live in America, land of the free, home of the brave. If you can’t get wealthy here, you can’t do it anywhere in the world. There is more opportunity all around us than at any other point in history. More people are creating wealth out of the comfort of their home offices than ever before.
