A Self-Study Mini-Course For Beginning Photographers Designed to Teach You:

Advanced Techniques for Beginning Photographers:

A mini-course to take you from shooting snapshots to fine art!

Hello! My name is [ Chip Clark](http://www.chipclarkphotography.com/San_Diego_Photographer_Biography.htm), of [Chip Clark Photography](http://www.chipclarkphotography.com), and I am excited about the opportunity to introduce to you my self-study mini-course, Advanced Techniques for Beginning Photographers!

While I have been involved with photography on a professional level for several years, I am just as passionate about simply making great photographs. I am also just as passionate about helping beginning photographers with some of the challenges we have all encountered when first bitten by the 'shutter bug'. This became the inspiration for me to develop this mini-course for beginning photographers!

In a nutshell, Advanced Techniques for Beginning Photographers addresses, step-by-step,  some of the most perplexing challenges beginning photographers encounter, and teaches you how to work with them in easy-to-understand instruction.

Perhaps you just received your first camera, or found yourself inspired by a photographers work, or maybe even have been shooting for awhile and desire to take your photography to a higher level...

I believe my self-study mini-course Advanced Techniques for Beginning Photographers will help guide you to that higher level: from taking snap-shots, to producing fine art! To quote from my book:

This guide will teach you, step-by-step, many of the same techniques used by the most famous photographers around the world; because much of what separates a snapshot from a fine art photograph, can be learned. The technical aspects of making a photograph are no different than the step-by-step procedures for putting a bicycle together. Notice I said the technical aspects! Talent, of course, cannot be taught.

What you will learn:

- Unraveling the mystery of achieving perfect exposure: Every beginning photographer at some point is frustrated with f-stops and shutter speeds. Even the best camera meters in auto-mode will not handle complex lighting scenes perfectly. Three sections in my course will break the exposure mystery down with easy-to-understand techniques.

- Controlling the use of Depth-of-Field: Blurry backgrounds or everything tack-sharp - you will be able to control everything in your photograph after studying my section on Working with Depth-of-Field!

- Using nature's light to your advantage: Shooting landscape photographs at certain times of the day, and in specific lighting conditions, will make the difference between a pretty picture, and a fine art photograph!

- How to develop your photographers eye: Most beginning photographers make the mistake of spending their time looking for truly spectacular scenes to make great photographs. Developing your 'photographers eye' will enable you to make great photographs out of everyday scenes.

- For digital AND film photographers - Simplifying ISO, and knowing which films to use: Whether you work with digital or film - understanding the proper use of ISO and the right films is critical to creating high-quality images!

- How to make tack-sharp photographs: The importance of sharp photographic images cannot be emphasized enough! Even the slightest blur is the mark of an amateur. The answer is not just buy a expensive tripod!

- Filters - when to use them and what kind: Don't let yourself get caught up in collecting expensive filters because you think they will make you a better photographer. Learn what filters you should have in your camera bag, and when to use them!

Without the techniques my mini-course Advanced Techniques for Beginning Photographers teaches, you could spend years trying to learn these on your own, or picking up tips here and there. This could mean untold hundreds of dollars in wasted money in processing film that leaves you disappointed - and lost once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities simply because you were not prepared for the technique needed for that particular shot. Why not learn these now so you will be prepared!!
