I am a former Air Force Flight Officer and Gulf War veteran.

I started out enlisted, a 'Mustang' that progressed from the
enlisted to officer ranks, and after 4 years of dedication to night

HERE'S WHERE I FOUND MYSELF:

I was asking myself this once again as I 'bumped into' the son of a
long time, local real estate investor in Charlotte, NC...

SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES.

I had to get back into the _real world_ of a corporate J.O.B., and
was running car dealerships throughout the southeast.

One of the stores I managed was in Charlotte, NC, and I met an
amazing person who truly altered my destiny, although he was 'just
having a conversation', and did not realize his story would give me
the courage to pursue a new dream.

His name was Bill.

We struck up a conversation while he was finishing a car purchase,
and he told me how his dad began buying as many houses as he could get
his hands on back in the mid 60's, when you could assume a mortgage
without qualifying.

He assumed the mortgage, rented them out for positive or break even
cash flow, and although his method took him longer to create equity,
his family now lives very well on those hundreds of paid-off houses
that flows cash exceptionally well every month.

I remember something Bill said that really hit home.

He said his dad always said to invest in the things that people can't
live without, and you'll always make a good long term investment.

He meant food, water, shelter, etc.

He figured that if he invested in things that never lost the 'need to
have' factor (like houses), and if he did it right (cash flow), he
would surely 'win' in the end.

So I left that conversation 'chewing over' how I could accomplish the
same thing, although I wanted to build my equity base quicker...

'ACCIDENTS' CAN BE NEW DOORWAYS

Oddly enough, my wife and I had already 'lease-optioned' the home we
were living in, and I had 'accidentally' used similar principles to
create that deal.

We found a worn out house in a great neighborhood that had been
listed with a Realtor for almost a year and was not selling.

People walked right by it due to the cosmetic issues, although when I
saw it I knew they were nothing more than paint, carpet, landscaping
and TLC.

That fixer-upper, with our initial investment of a $1,500 'option
fee', and the conversation I just had with Bill, energized me like
never before.

I realized that the wealth I was looking to create was right in front
of me, by being a solution to homeowners, a solution to renters, and
working in an arena that everybody needs, every day, week and year: a
place to live.

We took that lease-option house, refurbished it, and when we put a
traditional loan in place we got a line of credit for the equity, and
used that money to buy six more houses very quickly. WE WENT FROM NEAR
DEAD BROKE, TO HAVING 7 TOTAL PROPERTIES,

CASH FLOW, AND EQUITY BACK IN OUR LIVES,...ALL WITHIN 10 MONTHS!

We now own properties in 3 states,
