PROJECT SITE is very good for often visited sites. Right now I have a forum tab, my master control tab and two main tabs open. That is important too, you can have multiples of the same tab open. My main tab has multiple links on different pages. I don't have to leave one link to get to another one.

Last summer my dad's long time faithful XP pro computer quit and he was forced into buying a new vista machine. One of the features that vista doesn't support is active desktop. On his xp machine he had several active desktop windows. These were mostly internal web pages that had site shortcuts and control panels to his various web sites. For his vista machine he wrote a HTA to take the place of active desktop.
It worked, but there were still LOTS of limitations and time wasting functions that he still performed.
But that was until I - an avid VB.NET programmer who has made several video games helped him develop PROJECT SITE.
After several days and weeks in building, Project Site was developed and it is better than what my dad had. He programs in several different server type languages, cf and php mostly. Updating his HTA links was fairly easy but did require getting into the code to do it. I made it easy to add/edit/delete links.
I also took it one step further. I added a regular browser window and an input box to go to any web site. This web browser isn't meant for regular web browsing. I had seen in my site developement that my dad was always right clicking on a page to get the source view. So I built a text box to the right that displays the source code in real time.
That was great, but being a little greedy, he asked me to make it possible for the tool to just display the text of a web page. Also for it to strip out all of the html code and see the page the way a search engine would see. Pretty eye opening sometimes when you see what the search engines actually see first on any particular page.
I did and added many more features to it. Weeks and months later... with hundreds of hours invested - Project Site is born - making it a MUST have for any serious Internet user.

This is Shawn's Dad again. Shawn learned to program in college. Since then he has mostly made video games. He calls them RPG games whatever that is. I don't get into video games.
