pulled from beneath them.

I wanted answers.
Even though I had already experienced huge success, starting from
nothing and going ton to play to 80,000 people, acheiveing a record
deal and publishing deal for my band and getting to open for childhood
heroes like Metallica, Red Hot CHili Peppers, Foo Fighters and NO
Doubt to name a few..
I wanted to know what was working for all of my colleagues.
Lots of my consulting clients wanted answers too and so I decided to
do something about it.
I didn't second guess myself,
Didn't over think
I TOOK ACTION!
I figured that it would be best to see what everyone else wanted to
know too..
So I decided to ask musicians what they needed to know.
Heres what I did:
-I ran pay per click campaigns,
-Got featured in magazines (Sound on Sound and Future Music),
-Surveyed people at trade shows,
-Surveyed my coaching clients.
-Asked people at concerts,
-Partnered up with musician websites
I did everything I could to find out.
Then, armed with this information, I approached my friends, business
colleagues and associates. There was only one criterion to be met:
THEY HAD TO BE SUCCESSFULLY OPERATING IN THE BUSINESS TO QUALIFY TO
ANSWER THE QUESTIONS.
We called it the BIG MUSIC SURVEY.
We had interest from over 30 countries!
No speculation, no guessing..
Just real questions and real answers that work.

Well, it was a mammoth task that took months, but now I am proud to

giving you knowledge, tips and proven advice, how many people do you
think you could be playing to in the next few years, armed with this
knowledge?
But here's something else:
I have already lived through this dream..more than once.
Im just a regular guy who happened to get lucky, meet a few people,
learn a few things and become successful.
And then, I helped other people and they did pretty good too!...
nice!
BUT!!!!!!
There were PLENTY of people who I met along the way. You know, those
people who know it all, and they look good, and they talk real good!
UNTIL you ask them about their music, and then its "THE STORY".
Then, they don't look so good - they look like they might throw up!
They get all clammy and start rambling.
They all have that excuse or tale, about how things are just round
the corner, and this guy who knows____________(insert name drop) said
he was gonna do this or that..
But underneath, they are sweating!! I feel for them, they want to
impress me so bad, that
they wont ask for advice or they wont listen.
This is their trip and they wont be told. They'll ask their friend
at the music store for advice.
They'll ask their family for advice. And that's fine!
There's nothing wrong with being scared and playing it safe in the
comfort zone.
But I don't want that around me. I want to be surrounded by success.
That's partly what this book is - its me giving access to a load of
people to ask my Mastermind Group questions. These people are busy and
they are in an industry that is
traditionally cloaked in secrecy and keeps itself to itself.
Even if you could get them on the phone, they wouldn't give you the
time of day, cos they are too busy being successful! This is a serious
undertaking.
We only want people who:
1. Are serious.
2. Are willing to actually FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.
3. Are willing to share their results.
4. Are willing to implement new and proven ideas.
...And the fact is, not all people will fit the bill.
Well, we don't want those people. We wish them well and we have
compassion for them ...but we don't want them in our club.
MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION.
Seriously, there's this kid I know called Alex.
He even saw me play a few years ago at a big festival in Europe.
He's a friend of a friend so I let him buy me a drink one time for a
little coaching.
Bad sign = He moaned about pay for the drink.
Anyway, because he kind of knows me, I let it slide. So we make him
a plan - this kids got potential, it could happen for him. But you
know, he was just so sceptical and had no balls
to go out there and implement the plan.
That he did nothing.
SO I was just annoyed that it was a waste of time you know?
Why bother! This kid is now stacking shelves, whilst studying to do
what his parents want him to do.
What about his dream??
But really, don't listen to me! Im just some guy who got lucky.
Listen to the experts answer the questions.
Even if you don't listen to what I have to say and you just listen
to my colleagues - you'll still be 1000 times more clued up!
