About this Author: Dann is originally from upstate Michigan, where he made a lifelong career as a Fisheries Technician, Fisheries Division; for inland lakes & rivers, with the Michigan Deptartment of Natural Resources. His father, who was also a Fisheries Technician and Biologist for the Michigan DNR; where he headed up the Sandusky Research Station; taught Dann how to fish at the age of 5. He has been fishing for work or for pleasure almost every day since. He has logged in more than 400,000 nautical miles & has caught hundreds of thousands of fish of all species.
