Look, I know what it's like to worry about a business start up. I've "been there done that many times". In fact I don't know how many times I got mad at God, angry at my wife, mad at my parents and even wanted to kick the dog because my life, my career just wasn't going anywhere. I don't know how many times my wife and I would argue over my pursuits to succeed as an entrepreneur.
My "grandma in law", Mabel Jansen knowing of some of our struggles financially told me I should go be a postman. My father in law who I love dearly when visiting would regularly ask me as I walked out of the basement office (the dungeon) how my progress was going. It killed me, it was humiliating. Few people were walking in my shoes. People didn't understand what it was like to want something so bad but wrestle like hell to try and get it. People didn’t understand that burning desire to do more than punch a clock or watch as others hit home runs in businesses of their own and I sit straddled to my hopes and ideas.
It was tough to get others to understand how I could stay awake at night strategizing and dreaming of exactly how the business would take shape only to be dark eyed and beat in the morning. As entrepreneurs this is the creativity, the gift we bring to the world. This creative entrepreneurial force needs to be reckoned with before it’s buried with fear. This force needs to be reckoned with before we view the world through a fear filtered existence. Launching any business can be scary especially when the world around you doesn't "get it". You really are GOING AT IT ALONE. Most people are ok doing the 9-5 thing and collecting a paycheck -- I'm not. That seems to be a rather "ridiculous" idea to most of this world - but not to me.

What is it you have to offer the world? What would people be willing to pay you to do? For me it took many mediocre experiences where I was left bored with my career to finally decide I would go after my "real" dream (I'll share it shortly).
Do you know what you really want to do with your life? Living a life "not knowing" where you want to go, the direction your headed, where you'll spend your days and what you'll spend them doing is certainly a tough unfulfilling way to live.
