When I found out that I was pregnant, I was living in a tiny box
room, sleeping on a sofa bed and living out of a suitcase. I had just
moved to London to follow my career dreams and was living in cheap
temporary accommodation.
I had left my job, my gorgeous boyfriend, friends and family behind
to take a big risk and go set myself up in a big city where I was all
alone. It was exciting, but the move didn't come cheap and I had
stretched my finances to the wire.
To add to my troubles, my housemate and I didn't get on at all.
There was always tension in the house and I spent as little time as
possible at home, as it was full of negative energy.
Now usually I'm a real bright and bubbly person. I always try and
make the best of things and not much gets me down but these were
extraordinary circumstances. I couldn't afford to eat properly, I was
highly stressed and seriously tired from the long hours I was spending
at work and I had no-one around me for support.
MY HEALTH WAS SUFFERING AND MY BABY'S ALONG WITH IT.
