I’d cry and cry, feeling so afraid and all alone, until finally I’d be too exhasted to stay awake any longer.
I searched high and low for answers, from religion to metaphysics to arcane studies and esoteric and shamanic displines. A short history lesson on the privilege of voting…
Maybe you’ve seen this article, but I think it’s worthy for a repeat.
The women were innocent and defenseless. And by the end of the night, they were barely alive. Forty prison guards wielding clubs and their warden’s blessing went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of “obstructing sidewalk traffic.”
They beat Lucy Burn, chained her hands to the cell bars above her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping for air. They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold.
Her cellmate, Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack. Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging, beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women.
Thus unfolded the “Night of Terror” on Nov. 15, 1917, when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson’s White House for the right to vote.

If a link won’t show as “live” in your email, copy and paste it into your browser bar and try it that way.

I’d also have to get up to go to the bathroom anywheres from 3 to 6 times. I tossed and turned, and had terrible dreams. And I was 70 pounds overweight!
Here are some tips that will help you right away if you follow them closely. Your results will vary according to how long you have been using them, and how closely you adhere to them.
They are not hard, but your habits may try to force you back into them - don’t allow it.
Your job will be to keep watch on yourself and asking WHY you keep going back. When there is no good reason to go back, say NO! Then get back on track with your intention to create more health, comfort and ease in your life by controlling what you put in your mouth. The art series is super inspiring for those who want to get inspiration for starting, doing or continuing their work as an artist - I watched them all!
A dedicated mother who discovered her talents later in life, but no less fulfilled. Artist Kim Merrill…thought that art was only reserved for an elite few. People write me left and right who are flipped out about the economy, the stock market, the war, worried about recession (hello? we’ve been in one for 8 years!), and unsure how they could possibly live their dream when bringing in the bread and rent is difficult for them.
