What
golf experts have to say...
"He
showed the world how to do it..."
"What Jones did
was create a model that everyone, consciously or unconsciously,
followed. It is why we have so many fine people in golf. He showed
the world how to do it."
- William Campbell, onetime USGA president:

"One might as
well attempt to describe the smoothness of the wind as to paint a
clear picture of his complete swing."
- Sportswriter Grandland Rice

"Golf
without Jones would be like France without Paris -- leaderless,
lightless and lonely."
Herbert Warren Wind

This book was originally printed in 1933, when Bobby
Jones first started working with A.G. Spalding & Co. on the first set of
matched clubs.  These clubs were designed to have the superior feel of
hand-crafted Scottish clubs but were mass produced in the U.S.  These
sets were the first to use the numbering scheme we still find on clubs
today...replacing the traditional Scottish names like niblic and mashie. The
Rights and Wrongs of Golf was included with each set Spalding sold.
Bobby Jones had not only given us the tools to play spectacular golf but the
instruction manual to his championship swing. The
amazing part about Bobby's success is that he was able to accomplish his
greatness while playing no more than the average weekend golfer.  He
averaged around 80 rounds of golf per year and played almost exclusively in
national championships, electing to pass on the smaller tournaments. This
book also includes 28 pages of illustrations
demonstrating his keys to success. These
rare books sell for well over $200...if
you can even find one.  I was lucky enough to find a copy
with the green leather cover and it is now the centerpiece of my
growing golf book collection.I
have enjoyed it so much I can't wait to share it with my fellow
golf addicts.  This is your chance to have your own
copy of this lost treasure for a fraction of the cost.
To show you we aren't all
business at StepBackGolf I will also include George Houghton's
classic book, "Confessions of a Golf Addict".  Some
of his stories will make you roll with laughter and others will
have you nodding, thinking "Yeah...been there".

A little history
of Bobby Jones:
From 1923 to 1930 Bobby Jones
captured an amazing 62 percent of the national championships he entered,
winning 13 of 21 tournaments. He won five of eight U.S. Amateur
Championships, and finished second in another. He won one of the two
British Amateurs he played in. In eleven of the last twelve open
championships he entered, he finished no worse than second, winning
seven times. In 1926, Jones became the first player ever to capture the
"Double," winning the U.S. and British Open Championships in
the same year. In 1930, he accomplished the Grand Slam, winning the
British Amateur, British Open, U.S. Open, and U.S. Amateur all in the
same year.  He did all of this as an amateur.  At the young
age of 28 Bobby Jones retired from golf to pursue his law
career.  While everyone else was practicing to try to
catch him, Bobby was attaining top honors while receiving
degrees in Law, Literature and Mechanical Engineering from
three different universities.
The
swing that helped and amateur to take the golf world by
storm can now be yours.  Simply order in the box
above.  You have my guarantee that you will love
these 2 books as much as I do.
