It's very rare that you see a profitable business for sale for below $10,000. You'd have to look pretty hard! However, I can find profitable websites for sale for under $10,000 within seconds, probably just 3 - 4 clicks of my mouse button.
I could even find a dozen websites for sale for under $2,000 within seconds. That's how giant of a gap there is between these two industries. Yet, they are almost the same exact thing.

Exactly!!! There really are no significant differences from a profitable website and a proftiable business other then a set of official "articles of incorporation" paperwork.
It's possible to go from website to fully licensed corporation within just one week and just as little as $99+ state fee's. I recommend you use BizFilings.com for fast incorporations.
I'll walk you through the step by step "corporation formation" routine I've created from my own trial and error efforts. Your competitors aren't doing this because it sounds so intimidating, but you'll have my hand holding knowledge to guide you through the whole process. You literally downoad some forms, fill in the blanks, email it to such and such, then wait a couple days for them to send you your official documents back. However, you will need to know a few very important tips to insure you don't attract lawsuits.
