The Essential Guide to Successful Telecommuting

You've seen them. You've considered buying them (maybe you already have...). Books and "pay-to-work" websites are everywhere you turn...
"How to make $100,000 a year from the comfort of your home...No experience required!"
"Pay $99.99, and find all the work you can handle!"
"Make crafts for the holidays, and earn $10,000!"

Frankly, it's all crap. Really. If it were that easy to make the salary of a Corporate CEO, by stuffing envelopes, who wouldn't do it? I guarantee you that the Corporate CEO's would much rather sit at their kitchen tables, stuffing envelopes than doing what they do in an office every day.... It's not happening. At least not to the tune of $5,000 a week. I promise.

I won't waste your time--or mine--drawing out a long laundry list of what this book will do for you. I'll be straight and to the point. Either you want to be a telecommuter, or you don't. And, I won't try to talk you into it. Why? One reason...

It's NOT Easy!

You can't go to school, and get a degree in "telecommuting". It would be nice, but it doesn't work that way. Many telecommuting opportunities are simply small pieces of a much larger puzzle; often a puzzle you will never see to completion. And there is a good reason for that (Page 14).
I work with enough telecommuters who want big paychecks, in exchange for terrible (and I DO mean terrible) work. And I've had it. In fact, it's the reason I wrote this book to begin with.
I didn't put six months of my life into this book, to throw scam jobs and promises of easy money your way. I did, however, take my decade of successful telecommuting experience, and break it down in to manageable, bite size pieces. You'll get 100 pages of insight, experience, explanation and resources, to help you decide if this very difficult--but extremely lucrative--field is for you...

The Essential Guide To Successful Telecommuting

What the book will do for you...

Provide you with a realistic picture of what is expected from you, as a telecommuter.

The field of telecommuting can be challenging. You need to compete to succeed. More importantly, you need to continuously learn. If you don't want to do that, you won't get far.

Outline some of the most common types of projects available to telecommuters--with an explanation of what's involved on your end.

The book will cover detailed project opportunities, and what will be expected of you, should you pursue them. I work with these projects on a daily basis. I have more of these piling up on my desk than I know what to do with. Believe me when I tell you, work is available - and it's plentiful!

Discover ways you can TEACH YOURSELF some of the most valuable, sought after skills in the world of telecommuting.

You've got to learn to earn. If you think that one day you'll wake up and have "finished" learning all there is to know, you'll be out of work. Simple as that. And, believe it or not, many of these learning opportunities will cost you nothing to learn, but your time!

Change your mind about telecommuting...

I expect that many individuals who read this book will hang up the telecommuting dream all together. Those that don't run for the hills, quite simply, are ready to work. And those are the people who will be wildly successful.

Share with you the many mistakes I (and other successful telecommuters) have made, so you don't follow in our footsteps (at least the bad ones)!

Believe me, if there were "do-over's" in telecommuting, I'd be cashing in on them! Of course, the good and the bad have brought me to where I am today - a successful, full-time telecommuter. I'm just willing to give you a few shortcuts and tips, to make your journey much easier.

What readers are saying....

"As someone who manages telecommuting freelancers, I can say that this will be required reading for my virtual staff.  Excellent insights from someone who’s been there, and knows what a telecommuter needs to be in order to make it in virtual office world!  Brilliant job!"

~ Samantha W.

"After reading your book, I now know why my "work at home" quest has failed.  I've paid for jobs, I've bought into the 'stuff envelopes for thousands,' and have even subscribed for, and paid to assemble toys for cash.  Reading this book lets me know I'm not alone, and there is help for me if I'm willing to help myself.  This book will be my bible to help me develop my skills so I can find a legitimate telecommuting job.  Thanks Allie, for writing this...all done for those of us who need you!

The Essential Guide To Successful Telecommuting

What the book won't do for you...

Find you a job.

If you wanted office employment, in a brick and mortar building, would you expect me to land the job for you? No. You need to showcase your skills, your experience and your abilities to get the job. The same applies for telecommuting.

Rave how "cushy" telecommuting will be.

I work no less than 12 hours per day--strictly telecommuting. It's not easy, but I love it. It takes a special type of mindset to succeed in this industry. Do you have what it takes? (Page 16)

Promote the "Anyone Can Do This" mindset.

Again, I am not out to peddle this book to everyone and their mother. I work with enough freelancers who could use some extra "gray matter" between the ears, and I've seen even more come and go. No, you don't have to possess 10 years of telecommuting experience to succeed. But you DO need to be creative, think out of the box, and be open to learning new and better ways of doing things. Simply put, you NEED to step out of your "comfort zone"!

Provide a long, long list of "potential" opportunities.

You won't get a big book, with a list of 10,000 "potential" job opportunities. What ISN'T potentially an opportunity? Think about it--there are people in the hygine industry who get paid to sniff armpits! Potential? That list is endless, and I won't waste your time with "potential" opportunities. You will, however, see what real people - just like you - are doing on a daily basis, to earn a steady income.

The Book (all 100+ pages!) will be immediately available for download, in PDF format. You will need the free Adobe Reader to view the book. If you don't already have it, you can download it free, here.
Ordering on the site is safe and secure. We will never sell, rent or give away your contact information - EVER!

I am offering you 60 Days to read, review, and implement the ideas and suggestions contained in this book. If you aren't 100% satisfied, let us know why! I will happily refund your purchase price, but I'd love to know what I can do, to make this book better for YOU. ALL I ask from you is that you do not go into this blindly, wanting to know why your envelope-stuffing career hasn't brought you the riches you'd hoped!
As a professional telecommuter and manager of telecommuting freelancers, I can promise you this - we need good people! While I can't rush out and find you a job, the information in this book will show you PRECISELY what we are looking for, in terms of skills, ethics, willingness to learn, and creative thinking. If you fit the bill, you are on your way!!!

P.S. Always remember, and never forget...don't EVER pay to work!
