This little unit is a must have for any wood working shop. I have
been selling the Plans for this unit on eBay for quite some time now
and it is very popular. Everyone who has bought it says they love it,
and have nothing but good things to say about it. Now let's get to
it.....
How often in your shop have you come across this problem:
You just made the nicest little piece of Furniture and in order to
finish it off you would love to take that piece of Maple and curve it
around the edge to give it that nice natural contour look, especially
to contrast it with Maple, or Oak, or Mahogany, you get the idea? but
then you stand there scratching your head thinking, How the heck am I
going to get that Maple to bend around that edge? It's a little to
much of a bend to do it naturally, the Maple will either snap or you
will end up with tears in it!, well it was a good idea, to bad I am
not equipped to do such a thing. At least not without taking it to a
big shop and paying big bucks for it or buying the equipment I need to
do it and spending the next ten years paying it off. Well don't let
your dream die. A year or so back I got tired of coming to that same
point in my work and scratching it for the same reasons. I was so
frustrated I decided I was going to finally figure out a way I could
do this myself, inexpensively and professionally. So I went to the
drawing board. I worked on it for days and built many different
variations of it. Finally the one variation that worked the best was
the easiest one, isn't that usually the way it is! I used it
extensively for the next few weeks and I got to tell you, what a time
saving, life saving little device. I do a lot of work with Oak and
Maple. Usually bending the Maple around the Oak. And the bends are
pretty substantial. With this little unit it takes me on average 10
minutes to get the Maple to Bend as much as I need it for going around
the top of an Oak Treasure Chest.

Plans for the best small stock Wood Steamer/Bender I have used. Very
easy and inexpensive to make. The steam chamber can be made to fit
stock up to 10 feet long and is 4" in diameter. The plans include a
list of all the parts you need including the Sku #'s for items that

end view of the steam chamber where you load your stock then screw on
the cap. The entire steamer can be completed in under 2 hours,
