Growing up, I was a nobody.





I didn't have many friends, I didn't get invited to parties, and I didn't hook up with any girls. And if I disappeared, nobody would have noticed.


Even more embarrassing, my older sister had to set me up on a blind date with her boss's daughter just so I could go to prom. 


I felt scared, shy, and invisible all the time. And things didn’t change as I got older. In fact, they got worse... 


I thought so little of myself that when I finally managed to get a serious girlfriend... she treated me like shit while I worshiped the ground she walked on. 


While engaged to be married, I found out she was cheating on me.


One night, I just couldn't help myself and I looked at her phone. On the screen was a text from some guy that said, "Last night was fun. I love you."


The hair on my neck stood up, my heart skipped a beat, and I felt the blood rush out of my face as my jaw dropped to the floor. After an argument, she threw the ring back at me and said, "I need a real man."


It was the last thing she ever said to me and I'll never forget it.











I was beaten, broken, and depressed.


I couldn't control my emotions and I'd break out in tears everywhere... at work, at the gym, and at the grocery store. 


My doctor insisted I start taking depression meds, but that only made things worse. Although I didn't break out in tears anymore, I felt like a zombie. I was alive, but I wasn't really living. 


And one day, I simply had enough. I felt the urge to cry, but I didn’t have any tears left. 


I felt completely empty and I was tired...








Tired of being depressed, feeling like shit, and not getting attention from girls. 


But most of all... I was tired of not living like the powerful, confident, and athletic-looking guys I saw in magazines and in movies. They seemed to have it all, and they made it look so easy. 


I hit my breaking point, and I decided I wasn't going to just let life happen to me anymore. Instead, I was going engineer the body and life I always dreamed of but never thought was possible for "guys like me." 


Like the men on the cover of Men's Health... 


I wanted to be significant, turn heads when I took off my shirt, and and have a physique I could actually be proud of.


But I didn't want to just look like the guys in the magazines, I wanted to really feel like they felt. I wanted the confidence, charisma, and swagger that came along with it. 




I wanted to have a physique I could actually be proud of.





It wasn't easy and it didn't happen overnight... but slowly I built myself into the best, most badass version of myself. 


Eventually, I was no longer a boy. I was a man... a super-man. Six-pack abs and all. 


I'm not telling you this to impress you, far from it. 


It’s more to impress upon you that even when the odds are stacked against you, it is possible to build a body you truly love.


To finally uncover that ever-elusive six-pack. 


To shed the stubborn body fat without having to cut out my favorite foods, do thousands of crunches, run miles every day, or have to turn down every invitation for dinner and drinks.


As you saw from my earlier photos, I’m not one of those people blessed with amazing genetics, a fast metabolism, or the ability to build muscle by just looking at a dumbbell.


It was my mistakes and frustration allowed me to come up with…

For example, my first client Christoph lost 18 pounds, cut 10% body fat, and added nearly 10 pounds of muscle transforming himself from an overweight weakling into Wolverine. The only problem, this transformation took over a year.


Coming from the world of corporate consulting where quick wins and results-driven performance is the norm...

So, I dissected everything I did with Christoph learning from my mistakes...
