How It All Began...
Hi there, my name is Joel and welcome to My Report on Sosúa. How did the idea come about? Before going to Sosúa for the first time back in January, I spent countless hours online doing research on Sosúa and watching a lot of videos on YouTube. But wanted to also check out what my local book store had on Sosúa.
I found books on the Dominican Republic as a whole, but nothing on Sosúa specifically. Disappointed, I went ahead and purchased the book for exactly $32.50 anyway. In the book, I only found 4 pages on Sosúa, and half the information was outdated. So I basically paid $32.50 for 4 pages of outdated information. It was a joke.
