How long is this course?
There are 6 sections of video lessons: Exercise Effectively; Good Nutrition; Accountability; Mindset; The 10 Week Programme; and Exercise Demos (short clips of all the best exercises). The video lessons are concise and to the point – most are only 3-4 mins long.
Is this course for men and women, and for what age groups?
These training and nutrition tactics apply to humans, no sexism here! As the training involves lifting heavy weights, it is advised for people aged 16+ in general good health.
What if I have some niggling injuries?
This course involves heavy resistance training and some high intensity training (at the halfway stage of the programme) so please seek medical advice before signing up.
Won’t lifting weights make me ‘bulky’? (Usually asked by women)
No – eating cakes makes you bulky. Strength training will elevate your metabolism levels long after you stop training, burning fat more efficiently while your body is developing lean muscle too. Men have 15-20 more testosterone than women so you simply cannot build muscle like a man. Strength training will lead to a firm, toned, sculpted body with curves in the right places.
I don’t like the gym; can I work out at home following this programme?
Short answer – no. The exercises included in this programme require specialist equipment such as squat racks. Also, your strength will quickly go through the roof following this programme and therefore your collection of dumbbells at home would soon become useless.
I don’t have much time to spare every week as I work long hours. How long will I have to exercise each week?
Potentially less than 3 hours per week if you step into the gym and just focus on the workout plans prepared for you. Each week of the programme requires 3 x weight training sessions per week (i.e. Mon, Wed, Fri). At the halfway stage we also include a single high intensity training session…but this is only 15 mins long.
