Who the #$%! is Mike?
I'd be asking the same question if I was you. Before 2000, I was terrible with women. I was constantly asking myself why I didn't have a girlfriend.. or why I wasn't getting laid. I vowed to make a change in my life, and I did. It took a damn lot of time, trial, and a ton of errors. But, a few years ago, a good friend pointed out what I had become - a pick up artist. A true Don Juan. I had my pick of the girls, and I was constantly setting my friends up with hot chicks. I would do the pick up for them, then pass the girl off when the buying temperature was hot enough to guarantee success. That was fine and dandy, until something hit me like a ton of bricks in the summer of 2003. Why should I keep doing the pick up for my buddies? Why not teach them what I had learned?
I asked a couple close friends if they wanted to learn. They were beyond excited, but seriously unsure of themselves. I took each of them under my wing, one at a time, and taught them what I had taught myself. The process become shorter and more streamlined after helping out a couple of the guys. Things worked so well that I quit my job, and started teaching my methods one-on-one, by referral only. I made a ton of cash. Life was freaking grand.
Enter 2005, stage right. My closest friend, and business partner in another venture, suggested I take my methods and teachings, and share them with the world. I could still teach in person using the one-on-one format that's been helping dozens of guys, but this would help the guys that are do-it-yourself-ers along the path.... a bumpy ass path when you go it alone, but with the book, it would smooth it out a LOT.
As I got into writing the book, I realized the attention it would require to make it great, so I stopped teaching one-on-one temporarily. Now, the book is done, and guys are swooping it up at levels I couldn't imagine this soon after release. The feedback has been so awesome! I'm even planning on restarting my in-person training with a twist - small groups in addition to one-on-one. That will make the lessons a bit cheaper, and the required reading will be this book.
