NEVER DIET AGAIN!

I wrote this^.

You don’t know me, and I don’t know you. This is good, regardless of what your parents told you about talking to strangers and trusting men with beards. 

It’s good because there’s nobody here to put you down or discourage you when you think out loud about the healthy changes you want to make in your life.

Instead, it’s just the two of us, and I for one definitely won’t be doing either of those.

You’re here to embark on a journey that’ll result in a healthier, happier you, and I’m here to guide you along the way.

 

Call me your guardian angel.

If you’re anything like me then you’ve probably had your fair share of failures in the diet department, and the whole ‘I’m going on a health kick’ thing got boring long ago.

This warrants no condemnation, there’s no need to be mad.

I actually commend you because you ventured out into the wilderness and left your comfort zone.  You did what you thought was right for your body to ultimately make it a better functioning, longer-lasting machine.

I completely understand the frustration and monotony of eating in a way that’s not pleasurable, and the constant ‘this is all for the better’ lie you let whirl around your mind when you know that it couldn’t be further from the truth.

I know how it feels to get every craving under the sun for even the simplest of things – ham sandwich, anyone? – and not being able to contain myself. And you can only hold onto that feeling for so long, can’t you?

Because that’s when it all goes SNAP!

The floodgates open, letting in all those doughnuts, cookies, chocolates and cakes you said you’d never touch again whilst launching all your hard work down to the pits of nowhere…

I know how it feels to berate yourself afterwards, too…genuinely seeing yourself as a failure and someone who lacks the ‘willpower’ to stick to something so simple and mundane.

But tomorrow will be better, right?

How many continue to utter those fateful words everyday, I wonder? Spinning in a potently vicious cycle of restriction, splurging and self-hatred. It’s saddens me to think that they’re not here like you.

We need more people like you.

So as you can see,  I don’t come to you from an ivory tower somewhere in the clouds, but from a similar place to where you are now. I’ve tried all manner of eating plans…I’ve cut carbs, feared fat and eaten clean (we delve further into this inside), amongst others.

None have worked, which is why I wrote the Common Sense Diet.

I realised the fallacies and propaganda the diet industry has been pumping out for too long, and felt compelled to let you – a valued member of society – know what the hell is going on.

Once inside, you’ll find out how our brains work when it comes to different foods, and how it could be wreaking TOTAL HAVOC on YOUR health and fitness goals.

You’ll also be surprised at how easily this can be turned on its head.

Speaking of fitness, I will show you how the relationship between fitness and diet is a double-edged sword – in the same way diet influences fitness, FITNESS influences DIET.

So what does the Common Sense Diet consist of?

Good question.

‘The Common Sense Diet’ is one that requires you never having to give up your favourite foods, leaving ‘forbidden’ foods behind (I’m looking at you, carbs) and NEVER having to make a single green juice.

Ever.

All you have to do to succeed is adhere to the SIMPLE TRUTHS that have fallen far off the beaten track for too long now, 1 being IMPERATIVE for any dietary success – even more so than a kale and blueberry smoothie.

FORGET the 30-day juice cleanse. DITCH the fat phobia. Don’t let the ‘gurus’ tell you different; these methods will DAMAGE your health, not BETTER it, which is what we’re going to do in just a few moments.

WE can do this by adhering to the SIMPLE TRUTHS nestled inside and together, we can destroy the Sith create a happier, healthier you.

Who the Common Sense Diet is NOT for:

Those after immediate results.

People that are happy with going from diet to diet with no success.

Anyone content with their current eating habits and how their food leaves them feeling.

The Common Sense Diet is NOT a fad, nor is it designed to give you half-arsed, temporary results – this is not Atkins, this is not something you apply 10 days before a holiday to get that ‘summer body’.

Cos who wants to rent one of those for the summer when you could have one all year round? That being said, this isn’t even the main focus of this approach to eating but a by-product. There’s one side benefit already, and everyone loves a side benefit.

All that remains is one question; are you game?
