I purchased the Goalie's Mind for my son 2 months ago, in MP3 format. I listened to it initially after downloading it and was quite impressed, and was eager for him to start listening to it as well. However, he seemed slow to warm up to it, and didn't listen to it for over a month. I wasn't sure whether it was the background music, or the fact that he couldn't skip the intro (relaxation part) and go directly to the affirmations. I am emailing to praise you mental training soundtracks. I trained last night after having used them for 3 days and I was on fire. I have been on a slump for the past few training sessions and this has really pulled me out of it.The puck just seemed to hit me all the time I was always in position and everything seemed easier. I don't know whether your soundtracks actually work or whether it is a case of me thinking they work and so it having a positive effect on me...to be honest I don't care, it had an excellent effect on my game. Thank you for the book attachment! I thought I would share some feedback on the CD's. I have a 10 year old Squirt A goalie who plays both ice and some roller hockey in the summer months at the highest levels where we live. He had been told by his coach that he has talent coming out of his ears but needed to work on his mental toughness. Shortly after a discussion with his coach I ran across an advertisement for The Goalies Mind and thought I had to try it. Well, my son has had the program for a little over a week now and listens to it every morning and every night at bed time. This weekend we had our first ice game since the holiday break and he was unbelievable! In his ice hockey game he took 19 shots and gave up only one goal. I was very impressed that he did not get up set by this goal as it was a controversial one with one ref having called it off and one saying it was good. Rather then get frustrated he maintained his focus and stopped the last 12 shots for the win. He was also asked to fill in during a roller hockey tournament for the 14 and under team, he normally plays roller over the summer and has been away since July. He went into the tournament and stood on his head. He came out of the tournament with the second highest save percentage with a 87.5% after facing 80 shots in 3 games. He was laughed at for his size being so much smaller then all the 14 years olds and he blew it off and played amazing! I subbed for a team in a "B" league who was about .500 and we played the best team in the division.
