My motivation for writing this book
A couple of years ago rather accidentally I had discovered a niche in the microstock industry. In the course of preparing reports for our client, I tried to buy a couple of illustrations. I couldn’t find anything grabbing my attention at Shutterstock, Dreamstime, iStockPhoto, Fotolia, and many others. I thought: “What’s wrong here? Do I use wrong keywords? Why there are no images there that I need? Preparing these pictures in open source software is EASY!” In the end, I have saved my company couple of bucks and done illustrations by myself. It was indeed really easy – the software was free, and I have learned how to use it during my Ph.D. studies, as a necessary part of preparing my thesis. Now I decided to provide knowledge about graphics development and sales to those, who don't have time to make PhDs on relevant topics.
Your motivation for reading this book
You have some free time on your hands, or you don't, but realized know that it is expected that plenty of people will find their jobs replaced by robots, algorithms and artificial intelligence, including affiliate marketers of all sorts. The last thing you want to do now is to follow instructions for masses – you know that you will end up without money and unemployed, like almost everybody else. 1) Will your method earn for me a gazillion dollars in the first month?
NO! For two reasons:
This method will not make money for you. It will teach you to earn money yourself. It is not a method for neither "quick," nor "fast" monies. It is a process for developing cumulative, steady income dependent on the effort you'll place.
2) So what is or can be the average earning for a newbie in a month?
It depends on your effort. What is important, that job once done turns fruits with income generated in totally passive way, meaning:
no updates, no promotions, no customer service, etc., etc.
3) Can your system be saturated?
Only in theory. The price is one barrier, the sheer amount of possible image combinations (the order of millions) another, and last but not least - there is a steady and increasing inflow of data to be visualized. It will take quite a while.
4) Is your method sustainable in the long run?
Yes, this is a long run method. I’m still receiving checks for the work done in... 2008. Your income will increase cumulatively with every piece of work you'll prepare.

All tools I'm describing are free to use, even for commercial purposes. Most of them are open source software.

Who am I?
I am a Data Scientist, with a proven track record of using technical knowledge, negotiating skills and managerial experience to successfully deliver IT, scientific and technological projects covering a variety of areas, from life-sciences to robotics. I have completed a 5-year MSC in Molecular Biology in 3 years, and later in parallel I pursued my scientific and entrepreneurial passions.
What are my competencies to write this book?
Where do I start?
I make money on molecular visualizations since 2008. I used to lecture visualization for MBA and post-graduate students in major Business Universities in Europe. For seven years I was successfully teaching bioinformatics to biology students (when coming to the class for the first time, if asked to "press any key" reaching for computer's reset or power button). Did I mention, that I make money in a way described in the book? Some kind of cool people and reputable institutions use my images (see below).
