Each workout consists of 3 strength circuits that are focused on building muscle. They consist of slow and controlled weightlifting. It’s proven that the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest. Muscle is a crucial factor in the speed of your metabolism.

Each workout also includes of 3 short cardio circuits. These circuits are 6 minute high intensity circuits that get your heart rate very high for a short period of time. Who Am I?



My name is John Koopman. I’m a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and aspiring bodybuilder. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Clinical Physiology.



 

Throughout my life I’ve trained as a collegiate football player, a crossfitter, and a bodybuilder. I’ve competed in all three . No matter how I’ve trained, I’ve always pushed my body to the limits.

 

Through my own fitness, and extensive experience working one-on-one with clients, I’ve developed an expertise in developing programs for people. It’s something I love to do, and something I will continue to always do.

 

I’ve found the majority of my client’s goals are to lose weight, but more importantly to KEEP IT OFF! That’s exactly why I created 6 Fit.

I’ve always been a fitness fanatic.. I’ve tried everything from Jazzercise to Ju Jitsu..
