My Story

My heaviest menstrual cycle was about a year ago, and that was when I had to use twenty overnight well saturated pads alongside seven pull ups within a twenty-four hour period. I had become pale and weak most of the time until I was afraid another heavy period may kill me as a result of anemia. I try to take iron during my periods, but it seems the iron ends up causing more heavy flows. Soon after this twenty overnight pads episode, and by the grace of God, I was listening to David Wolff, and he had said that vitamin C helps with heavy periods, and so on my next period, I will take 1000 mg of vitamin C every time the pain comes on which happened to be about every four hours. Although the vitamin C seemed to help somewhat, my skin started to burn, and so I had to reduce the amount of vitamin C that I was taking.
I was blindly taking all sorts of herbs, some helped, and some made it worse until I started doing muscle testing to help in my choice of what I take. One of the worst herbs for me is Chaste herb which caused me pains so severe that, it was worse than labor pains, and then recently I bought a book written by Sara Gottfried MD – “The hormone cure”, and in it, she wrote that, the only herb that worked for heavy menses is Chaste herb, and since that was the worst herb for me, and probably many other women such as me, I know it is my obligation to share what saved me from surgery because any form of scar on the body, whether from surgery or a minor cut, could mean a life time of disease or illnesses without cause, as stated by Dr. Robert Marshall from the longevity now conference, and so I had to avoid surgery as much as possible.
Talking about surgery, at one time I had gone to the clinic because after the bleeding would not stop after more than ten days of bleeding. I was asked to come back in two weeks after my menses had stopped so that a biopsy could be taken of the endometrium, and to bring my insurance information along with me and my family’s total income. I did not go back for two reasons, the first reason is that, by the time the bleeding was done I was ready for another cycle, and so there was not two weeks interval for me to go back; the second reason was out of pity for myself for the fact that, the medical establishment could not offer me anything except surgery, and how they are going to be paid.
Doctors are good people with good intentions to help people get well, and I know they have a large amount of student loans to pay for, but what I do not know is why they will always go for the big guns to kill a fly, instead of just swatting that small fly with the simplest thing that costs less. I am guessing it is the big guns that pay; or, these doctors are being pulled by some strings that take them straight to the big guns, and so they do not have control of what they do except to honor the wishes of the higher powers, or they do not know of any other means. For whatever the reason maybe, I pray for the day that natural and unnatural could work hand in hand for the betterment of the human race. I am sorry to have had to digress from my topic.
My feeling better involves numerous herbs and supplements, but the secret is muscle testing which guides me to take the right kind of herb or supplement at the right time, and the right amount. I remember after I reduced the intake of the vitamin C, the next herb that tested good for me was Black Cohosh which was able to stop two weeks of bleeding, and then after two doses, the muscle testing was negative, meaning I do not need it again at that time, and that is why no one should be taking one kind of anything every day. I was talking to someone about it, and the first thing she said was that, be careful about Black Cohosh, it just caused liver disease in somebody, and I said, that is why I will not take anything without muscle testing because the muscle testing gives you the safe limit of whatever you are taking, and so now I muscle test before I take anything that goes into my body, even if that thing tested positive previously as our reaction to things changes from time to time. I hope to describe into detail how to do muscle testing later on in this book.
It is important to know that too much of anything can be bad. I know of someone who was reacting negatively to oatmeal after eating too much of it every day, and talking about oat meals, I used to be intolerant to the Old Fashioned oatmeal until I did muscle testing and it showed that I am able to tolerate quick oatmeal better, and now it is one of the best foods for me because it helps to reduce the abdominal bloating associated with the heavy bleeding, but remembering to eat it only in moderation as moderation is the key to life.
