Hi. I'm Carrie and I'm a yoga instructor. I love feeling healthy and I love green smoothies. I began experimenting with healthy smoothies made from fruits and vegetables (otherwise know as 'Green Smoothies') a couple of years ago. After I started drinking these smoothies, I soon began to notice that my mind and body were functioning better than they had been, and I soon began to understand that the cells in my body were thriving on the copious amounts of vitamins, minerals and enzymes that were available in the green smoothies I was consuming each day.
I was hooked and as I continued to experiment with my smoothies, adding new superfoods, herbs and other healthy ingredients, I got even better results.
During this time, I was noticing that many of my yoga students were struggling with weight issues as well as common problems such as lethargy, headaches and just not feeling as great as they could be (we should be feeling great!). So I began to introduce some of my students to my healthy green smoothies, teaching them how they could make their own and sharing my favourite recipes and I was over the moon when they shared their positive results with me.
What I soon realised is that this simple method for improving health and managing weight was too good to be kept a secret. My results and the results of my students inspired me to create The Smoothie Cleanse program so that I could share it with more people around the world. Enjoy!
