Q.Do I have to take any shakes or supplements?
A.No. This isn’t one of those detoxes. We should rely on real, whole foods to supply us with the nutrients we need. If you choose to take supplements that is up to you.
Q.What kind of meal plan is it?
A.The meal plan consists of breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks. Lots of protein, veggies, some fat, some starch and some fruit. All whole, real foods. Check out the sample meal plan below.
Q.What if I have kids/ a family?
A.I actually had that in mind when creating the plans. For some of the dinners I have you having them the next day as a leftover, so if you need to make extra you can. But there won’t be much for leftovers. And all of the meals are things that are tasty so you may have to make an extra starch, but these should be completely family-friendly meals.
Q.What if it's just me and I'm cooking for one?
A.You won’t need to make every single recipe then. You will have more leftovers so you could omit a couple of the dinners each week and just eat a couple of the dinners and use them as leftovers.
Q.What if I have an intolerance or don't like some of the foods?
A.You don’t have to eat every single food in the plan. If you don’t like something you can sub it out for something else on the recommended foods list.
Q.What if I work and can't eat 5 times a day?
A.If you miss a meal that’s okay. Just stick to the plan the best you can and eat the way that makes you feel your best.
Q.What results can I expect?
A.If you lose fat and build muscle during these 30 days that is awesome! You should be able to lose some fat, and you will definitely see results because as you eat in a way that your body is supposed to be fueled you will not be bloated. You will have so much energy to go train harder too!
Q.What equipment do I need to do these workouts?
A.You can do all of the workouts with a stability ball and dumbbells. Having a barbell, a bench, a medball and jump rope would be awesome, but you can do these workouts without that. So they can be done from home.

Q.Can I drink coffee or alcohol?
A.I would never ask someone to go without coffee first off. However if you decide to drink alcohol you are slowing your metabolism and will make it harder on yourself if fatloss if your goal. So it is not recommended to drink alcohol.

A.You can certainly opt to eat something that is off the plan, but this plan includes yummy things like Paleo pancakes with maple syrup, bacon, nut butters, fruit, steak, burgers so ultimately you should feel so satisfied with what you are eating that you could stay within the recommended foods list for 30 days and be satisfied.
Q.How is this different from other diets?
A.This is not a diet. This is something you could feasibly follow long term. My goal is to teach you how to eat in a way that is sustainable. There shouldn’t be any restriction, but it should also help you lose cravings from sugar and feel satisfied all day.
Q.How long will the workouts take?
A.The workouts are designed to take no longer than 30 minutes. There are daily workouts, and you can skip if necessary, but they include lifting, HIIT cardio and yoga. They are designed to get you prepared to move daily and be in the habit of daily exercise.
Q.Is this customized?
A.This 30 day detox is not a custom program. It was created to give you a framework to learn how to eat better overall, and fuel your body so you can have tons of energy, get rid of the cravings and lose fat.
