Part 1: Understanding Stress
In this section, we will look at what stress really is and address some of the myths around it. For example, is all stress really bad? We will look at some of the causes and cycles and some of the ways it affects both mind and body.
Part 2: Emotional Mastery
In this section, we will explore techniques for controlling negative emotions such as fear and creating more resourceful and empowering states.
Part 3: Mental Mastery
In this section, we will look at how to identify limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns of thinking, which can cause negative stress reactions, and how you can create new patterns that will help you become more confident when facing challenging situations.
Part 4: Behavioural Mastery
Once we have control over our thoughts and our feelings, we can start to gain control over our behaviour. In this section, we will look at ways of developing problem-solving skills for effectively managing rather than avoiding, or simply feeling overwhelmed by, challenging situations.
Part 5: Physical Mastery
In this section, we will explore ways in which you can relax your body using various techniques such as meditation, progressive relaxation and even exercise. You will discover ways in which you can improve your sleep to properly recharge your batteries, which will enable you to feel stronger, more energised and more resilient, all of which will enable you to respond more positively to stress.
Part 6: Looking Forward to the Future.
This section will help you to pull together everything you have learned to face the future feeling confident, calm and positive.
