Dear friend,
My name is David Wilson and I'm the founder of "Johnnywood Studios." I have good news and bad news. First the good news...Over the past 20 years I have written and developed this amazing 36 story comedy series entitled "Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D" which also includes several funny "Parodies" and "Spoofs." You read that right. My book contains 36 comedy stories many of which are "MOVIE LENGTH" and took 20 years to develope! Yes, I know my "Art" is just terrible! If you ever thought evolution is a myth here's proof that it does exist. You see, I took "Art" in high school and succeeded to make a big fat "F." I thought about hiring a professional artist for my stories. But, I had seen their expensive work and it was still only 2-D black & white and not that impressive. So, with little choices I illustrated my stories with boring 2-D black & white drawings but, thought to myself- "Where's this going? What type of success will these horrible drawings achieve and what will people think?!" So, I tried coloring my terrible drawings with pencil colors and thought- "Okay now they're colored, horrible, ugly pictures that no one will want!"

I know, horrible right?!
But, here's what's even worse: My stories weren't even funny but, rather downright BORING! That's right, my stories were so boring people actually fell asleep reading them! I think some people thought- "If you can't get to sleep don't waste money on sleeping pills just read one of David Wilson's boring stories and you'll be out like a light!" Nope. I won't give you an example at this time. So, for years I struggled and finally realized my mistakes and also found out the following:
WHY MOST BOOKS AND MOVIES FLOP AND END UP ON "THE MOUNTAIN OF FAILURE."
Sadly, most books and movies end up right here because they lack certain elements.
You see, I realized that I was not the only one standing on that scrap heap of doom. Big movie studios and Hollywood made hundereds and possibly thousands of horrible flops for decades. But, these disasters weren't limited to movie producers and also included thousands of authors and song writers as well. Then, I asked myself what's the MAIN difference between "Block Busters," "Best Sellers" and "Flops?" In my opinion, some of the most successful movies, books and stories contain the following elements: Action, adventure, comedy, drama, mystery and suspense. However, if one element such as: comedy is removed or the comedy is not funny but just plain “stupid” the story or movie can be crippled in its ratings. I ask you, what's the ONE ELEMENT that MOST successful movies and books contain?! Well, the answer is COMEDY.
THE SCIENCE OF LAUGHTER
WHAT MAKES PEOPLE LAUGH AND WHY
Why do people laugh? Can there be a scientific explanation for laughter? Some people have said, "Laughter is the best medicine." To some people certain pictures are funny to them. To some people certain words or phrases make them laugh. Some people respond with uncontrollable laughter when there is action, adventure or drama involved. Some examples might be, in cartoons or, in movies such as: Jaws or Jurassic Park. Both of these movies have similar traits because they have action, adventure, suspense,comedy and lots of drama. Parts of, these two movies are also very funny to most people and perhaps are why both of these movies were “block busters?!” So, in order to make people laugh a writer or author must know “what “funny is.” Things that are funny to some people are not to others. But, some pictures, words or phrases are funny to almost everyone except perhaps to the genuinely insane. Take the picture below for example.

Now, this picture is funny to most people. WHY you may ask?! Because, this picture is “relatable” to the eye of the beholder?! It seems that when people are disfigured in some manner it is funny to others. Also, when people are depicted as doing some jobs it is considered to be "Funny" which the picture below proves once again.

It seems that when a person is missing his head or a limb it is viewed as a “violent act.” However, this thought is dismissed in the case of "Cartoons" because the characters seem to dismantle each other routinely and are viewed as “funny.” Why is this I ask myself?! Also, when a person is hit in the head or knocked down in some way it is viewed as funny?! These are acts of violence but are still thought of as “funny.” Jokes also make people laugh. But, once again certain jokes make some people laugh and others don’t find them funny. Why is this I ask myself?! Knowing "What is Funny" is half the battle concerning writing comedy and the science of laughter.

One day, I decided to explore other books and found that some were only for children and weren't that funny. As I read other author's books I found them to be "Mindless Entertainment" with little "Real World Value" and some were more stupid and scary rather than funny. I also realized that other books were for a limited audience and not for people of all ages. By further examination of other author's books I also noticed that they had a very "Limited" number of illustrations and the rest I had to imagine. This was frustrating and left me wanting more. After more examinations and "spying on the competition" I found their 2-D pictures good but nothing really ground breaking "New" or exciting. 2-D or not 2-D, that is the question? 3-D is the answer and makes 2-D obsolete.

While reading some popular books I noticed that some of them had no illustrations at all or, were only in black & white that I considered "BORING." I thought that people just weren't getting a good value for their money and knew they deserved better. So, to combat this injustice I wanted my customers to have a "MOVIE" like experience while, reading my uique comedy stories. So, with my unique innovation, "Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D" contains an average of 3 pictures on every page! That's a lot of pictures and my book contains 464 pages! Let's see... 464 X 3 = 1,392! How many other comedy books contain over 1,300 full color 3-D pictures?! None, that I know of! You see, I wanted my funny, comedy series to be different from the rest and I wanted my comedy stories to contain the BEST pictures money could buy. Please don't hold it against me but, I wanted to give people more than just a cheap "Coloring Book." I wanted to give people "Real Value" for their money. After all, I did invest many years into writing these 36 funny comedy stories and I realized that they truely deserved the "Best" pictures known to mankind. Once, you read them I'm sure you'll agree.
2-D DRAWINGS OR 3-D PICTURES WHICH IS BETTER AND WHY?!
Let's face it we now live in the "Modern Era" and 2-D drawings were fine ten or twenty years ago but not anymore. So, with limited options and not knowing where to turn I began to use real 3-D props and characters just like they use in the movies! As, I began taking the pictures I found that using toys and action figures made the illustrations even more "Funny" and comical than real life props and people. I believe my unique innovation might create a whole new industry?!I also found that using "NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY" and using REAL OUTDOOR Scenes is the ultimate in realism. So, for my book- "Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D" I photographed some of the outdoor scenes with REAL WATER and even REAL SNOW! I also made use of "Trick Photography" as well. Where else can you find innovation like this?! No where that I know of. However, I did not use any "Photoshop" like some companies use. I also thought making videos while, taking pictures was a brilliant idea.

ABOUT JOHNNYWOOD STUDIOS
In creating my book- "Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D" I had to create a "STUDIO" designed for photography and film making. Several spot lights and flood lights lights were used to illuminate the indoor scenes and the interiors of buildings and houses were also designed and created by hand. Several outdoor areas were chosen including a lake for the water scenes. I used literally hundreds of props, many of which are "Custom Hand Made" along with buildings and many, many action figures. Sure creating my book using this meathod is a lot more EXPENSIVE but my customers are worth it and my book deserves my unique 3-D innovation. I photographed this comedy series "Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D" around the Marietta Georgia area and invented the slogan "Laugh with Lucky." At "Johnnywood Studios" I use many scale sizes of models, props, buildings and characters to produce amazing 3-D pictures for people that really appreciate quality pictures, videos, fine art and funny comedy. I use an HD camera for my comedy videos for professional quality. I use a digital camera that has a macro setting and long exposure setting that enabled me to take pictures "up close" and at "night" for the ultimate in realism.

Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D also contains "Parodies" and "Spoofs" and are written in the past and future tense. Considering that Lucky and the Supernaturals 3-D is a 36 story "Series" I plan on publishing them all in FOUR BOOKS with each book containing NINE, full color 3-D pictures. Some people have mentioned to me that my stories would make great movies and I agree. Perhaps it's because of my unique innovation and creative ideas? LET'S MEET THE CHARACTERS!
Lucky is a poor, humble leprechaun that came from a “royal family,” ten thousand, years ago in the past and is the "Main Character." Because, of his good morals and upbringing, Lucky always does the right thing. He is a unique “super hero” and a “time traveler” in a mythological world and in another dimension in time. Lucky travels from the past and through the vast emptiness of space and time to the present and into the future.
Lucky is also a very hard worker and always earns his gold and treasure. It is never just handed to him and Lucky never steals or lies, because of the holy words written on his holy golden medal. Lucky and his friends work in concert as a team, in a never ending quest for truth and justice. When, evil raises, its ugly head, Lucky and his friends are there against incredible odds and prevail over evil, time and time again.
There is an old saying- “dynamite comes in small packages” and Lucky is no exception. For this good, leprechaun is a “supernatural” life form and Lucky even has the power to, defeat the “beast and the false profit” in the future. Yes, there's a story for this and proves, that the future is pre-decided. Yes, I know it sounds crazy but that's what makes this comedybook so funny and is why you should read it.

Lucky's "Golden Medal"
is his transport device he uses to escape from evil.
Lucky's "Magic Key" is what unlocks his "Time Machine" along with other things.
"Blues Time Fountain" is Lucky's "Time Machine." It transports Lucky into the past and into the future as well. As you can see it has a real "Key Hole" at the bottom for Lucky's "Magic Key."
Meet "Sir Griffin," Lucky’s loyal dedicated mentor and teacher. Sir Griffin helps Lucky overcome many obstacles and helps him find the "Magic Key" and his first "Pot of Gold." Sir Griffin is also a great leader and becomes Lucky’s general.
Meet the “Fairy.” In this picture she is a very young lady but, as the stories progress she grows taller. The Fairy is Lucky’s companion throughout many years and into the future. The Fairy also has great ideas and she is someone that Lucky trusts with his best kept secrets. The Fairy “up lifts” her husband and is a very tough, sweet lady that helps Lucky and his friends escape from evil. There's lots of funny rivalry between the Fairy and Lucky which adults are sure to enjoy. The Fairy always uses her power and magic spells for the good of humanity and against all evil.
Now, meet the “Unicorn!” He is a very smart animal and is Lucky’s "idea man.” The Unicorn won his wings from “Zebutar” the sea monster in a poker game, long ago. The Unicorn is a work horse that rescues Lucky, the Fairy and his friends many times and even in the future.
The “Dragon” helps Lucky on a few adventures but, has a dark side. I would say more but, I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Meet the "Troll." He's evil, mean and greedy! The Troll is a four armed, three horned supernatural life form that gives Lucky a hard time in the story- "Lucky and the Pot of Gold." But, he get's what he deserves in the end.
Meet "Zebutar" the Sea Monster. He's a little greedy but not too bad. Zebutar is very old and swims the oceans in search of gold. He was born in Greece and knew the Unicorn in their younger days. Zebutar eventually helps Lucky and the Fairy.
Let's meet the "Lil Dragon." He's a "good" Dragon and goes on a few adventures with Lucky and the Fairy. The Lil Dragon helps his friends until the end.
Now, meet "Louisiana Mac." He's a professor and an adventurous fellow. He's also a scientist, archeologist and a paleontologist. "Mac" helps Lucky on a few adventures and always seems to spark a spirited debate. There is also lots of funny rilvary between the "Professor"and Lucky as well.
Let's get happy and meet the "Jolly Roger!" He was once owned by Sir Griffin and piloted by "Blackbeard" that smuggled gold.
“KING Solomon” is Lucky's relative and always seems to be lurking in the shadows of Lucky’s life. I could say more, but that would spoil the surprise. KING Solomon's wife is "Queen Irene" and is thought to have died on the "Isle of Atlantis."
"Panda" the giant mushroom is Lucky's space ship that transforms and becomes much larger in size. Once again, I could say more but, I don't want to spoil the surprise!

Then, the Troll ran into the forest, leaving a trail of gold coins behind! Lucky picked them up, stuffed them in his pockets and began to chase after him, but the Troll was too fast!
Cursed for losing his gold, Lucky could feel his ears begin to grow!
The Unicorn asked. “If a man is wandering around in the forest, talking to, himself with no woman around is he still wrong?”
Lucky replied. “Of course and that’s why so many men are single!”

The Dragon moaned. “A man is incomplete until he’s married.”
The Unicorn snorted. “But, then he’s finished! Ah! Yes, love is blind, but marriage is an eye opener!”
Lucky sighed. “There are only two rings in marriage, the wedding ring and the suffering!!” So, Lucky’s friends left and Lucky decided to relax in his new “Man Cave.”

Then, Marley wobbled his head and shook the “jingle bells” around his neck proving he was ready!!
Disgusted, the Chief got angry, dragged a mirror over and stood it in front of Marley and exclaimed. “See! You’re a MOOSE and not a reindeer!!”
Marley sighed. “Okay, I’m just a very BIG reindeer?!”
