All tools and services offered by Flexible Forex are intended merely to complement a trader’s existing knowledge and skills. No computerized system—no matter how intelligently designed—may override the laws of economics, and forex trading is one of the riskiest investments available.
What types of strategies can I build with FXTemplate + Strategy Setup Tool? Which indicators are available?
You can create nearly any type of basic strategy based on MetaTrader’s built-in technical indicators, combined with the powerful flexibility of FXTemplate’s user-defined options. Create moving average crossover strategies, or more complex rule combinations. Your strategies may contain more than 10 possible conditions for exiting a strategy, depending on your selections within Strategy Setup Tool.
Trading strategies may include up to 10 indicator buffers & 32 rules (8 entry rules & 8 exit rules each, for long and short positions).
You may use any of the following indicators offered by MetaTrader: Stochastic, Commodity Channel Index, Awesome Oscillator, MACD, Moving Average, Envelopes, Bollinger Bands, Average True Range (ATR), Average Directional Movement Index (ADX), Relative Strength Index (RSI), Accelerator Oscillator, Accumulation/Distribution, Bears Power, Bulls Power, DeMarker, Force Index, Fractals, Ichimoku, Market Facilitation Index, Momentum, Money Flow Index, Moving Average of Oscillator, On Balance Volume, Parabolic Stop-and-Reversal (SAR), Relative Vigor Index, Standard Deviation, and Williams Percentage Range.
May I see backtesting results for FXTemplate?
Yes. After creating your own expert advisor and backtesting it within MetaTrader, you can view the results quickly. As an automated trading toolbox, FXTemplate empowers you to use your experience, creativity, and skill to develop your own powerful currency trading algorithms for MetaTrader.
How much programming knowledge is required to build FXTemplate-based forex trading robots?
None! Strategy Setup Tool, combined with the FXTemplate Technical Guide, assist you step-by-step with developing your own expert advisors. FXTemplate + Strategy Setup Tool provide you with a very powerful foundation to explore automated currency trading and exploit the market.
Optionally, and to a limited extent, you may insert MetaTrader’s MQL functions and variables within trading rules, if you know how to program for the MetaTrader platform.
