Nonduality: Awakening to the Embodiment of Enlightenment - eBook

Spiritually "waking up" to the true nature of reality (also known as nonduality) is quite a common phenomenon in our present day. Most information about nonduality is only pointing to the spiritual awakening itself and not the journeyless journey that unfolds after awakening.

There are a few people who point to how life unfolds after awakening but it's usually addressing "beginner stage" phenomena like "I had it and then I lost it", and the common questions like: "What now?" - questions that arise after the intensity of the first initial spiritual experience fades.

However, in our present day, most who are touching the deeper depths of the journeyless journey have already touched everything that most every teacher is continuously pointing to, and yet there are a great many who are gradually discovering fresh and new insights into the true nature of reality which no teacher publicly speaks about. These "deeper insights" can be confusing since there are many subtle stuck points and unnoticed repetitive loophole traps.

So this eBook is designed for those who are seriously dedicated to awakening, not as a way to escape life by trying to live in "the Absolute realm", but as the way of being. In other words, if you have devoted your life to awakening, then this eBook is for you.

Nevertheless, due to the Presence from which the words in this eBook arose, there is something for everyone in it, even beginners.

Excerpt from eBook

Life breathes in and out - this is the natural movement of life itself.

When we feel paralyzed, worried, fearful, sad, depressed, hurt, grief-stricken, frustrated, annoyed, angry, stuck, lost, anxious, nervous, etc., let it in, allow it the space to flow into you and to become one with you. Relax into it, feel it within your innermost core. Merge with what is by breathing in the energy of it.

Then... give it a voice, move with it, flow with it, allow it complete control over your body so it can play itself out. Let it exhaust itself completely by utterly letting it out. By naturally and organically releasing the energy through the body in an outward direction, you are dissipating and dissolving it, you’re fading the energy out.

Life is a constant movement of ins and outs - just like breathing. Any other movement only adds to the energy of its momentum, bottling the energy up. It's the resistance to anything presently arising that causes the energy to linger and repeat, building upon previous and past energy.

In other words, pushing up against the energy, running away from it, covering it up, hiding from it, becoming numb to it, manipulating the energy, attempting to convert it into happy feelings, trying to keep it separate from you, etc., causes excessive pain and unnecessary suffering.

About the Author

Nick Powiull lives in America and is only 32 years of age (born in 1982), but don't let his young age fool you into not taking the depth of his wisdom to heart. When asked about how someone so young can demonstrate such deep and clear wisdom, this is what he had to say:

There is this timeless Presence within each of us. It is our most essential nature (the foundational nature of absolutely everything). It is infinitely wise and unfathomably intelligent. Once discovered, it's like the gift that keeps on giving. Even I learn from my own words (in fact, I learn from everything and everybody since all of life points to noticing the vastness of itself).

The discovery of fresh newness is a daily occurrence, so the boundary of generalizing what is typical in age groups is blurred once the timeless life starts living itself and awakening is recognized to be what Being inherently is.

Discovering oneself anew and expanding into one’s own undivided consciousness is fascinating too, because as soon as something new is discovered, this Presence within us all (as what we most naturally are) realizes that it already knew what was just discovered (learned), even though we didn't know that we knew it until that very moment. It is quite a paradoxical and phenomenal mystery, once embodied and abiding (which seems quite rare).

I even ran into a man who claimed he was no longer a seeker but had been seeking for 53 years and still he never met anyone who is as clear as the voice of presence coming through here.

It is actually felt as nothing that I am trying to do. It is effortless and spontaneous, so I cannot take credit for it. I just express this to point out the grace and gift of presence itself living within each and every one of us, as us. That presence is clear and does know itself through and through. Thus, outflows wisdom.

The wisdom that gets translated through here is not rare in the sense that it's special, but rare in the sense that it is rarely discovered to be the effortless foundation of all life.

Awakening is often talked about in similar wording, but despite the wisdom of the similar wording for most people their words are not arising from a constant abiding within the feeling of Presence.

People who have awoken to their feeling nature know this, it can be felt what is behind everybody's words and it's clear where the words arise from despite how wise the words themselves seem to be. It's not in the words, words don't carry wisdom. The present aliveness of abiding in Presence (and as Presence) is what translates the wisdom of Presence into words, since the words are arising from the aliveness of Presence itself.

The feeling of abiding in Presence is similar to continuously being "in the Zone". There is a gracefulness to its movements and speech, and that elegance cannot be manufactured, just as the feeling of "being in the Zone" cannot be recreated. It comes organically and naturally like the ripening of a fruit, the more we dedicate our lives to spiritual awakening.

Most assume they have come to know what abiding in presence is and stop dead in this ever-awakening, goalless journey and call that "enlightenment". This prevents the further unfolding that is needed to discover the timelessness of abiding as Presence. There is a place and time for stopping, but most "call off the search" a bit prematurely by trying to manufacture a “resting within” while they don't authentically feel an honest pull from within to stop. Seeking has to exhaust itself naturally, otherwise it is just another form of doing, interfering - rather than simply being.

Usually I'm pretty long-winded because present noticing is so vast in its wisdom and scope that I feel compelled to share the details of what is presently arising. There is a practical purpose to sharing, but the outpouring of this wisdom is much like what artists experience when they are giving form to what is most alive within them and expressing the momentary feelings that want to be expressed. Plus, I love to explore the subtleties of what I am presently noticing… it's so utterly unknown that it appears new to me all the time. In this way, awakening deepens and insights unfold without effort, and I adore that, it always feels like completing a full circle.
