These may not sound like they apply to you, but if you are having trouble losing your baby weight, then chances are, you are experiencing at least one of the above mentioned issues.  You are probably also exactly where I once was- frustrated and tired of trying.  I was in great shape before and during my pregnancy, so I continued the same diet and exercise routine after I had my son.  Only my body did not respond the same and I could not get the last 10 pounds off.  Ten pounds may not sound like much, but the weight seemed to be depositing in strange places, so I was uncomfortable and it was evident that something was off. 

I tried everything and I mean everything to lose the baby weight, yet nothing worked.  I did the Waterfall Diet, saw a Chinese Herbalist, took Dandelion, sat in hot saunas, went low sodium, lowered my carbs, wore a sweat belt while exercising, was hypnotized, did hot yoga, ate asparagus and parsley, and drank celery juice and detox teas. I kickboxed, lifted weights, walked and ran.  I even sought the









Medical advice of a Hormone Specialist, Internist and Endocrinologist in an attempt to check for other ‘underlying, more serious causes of water retention’. I had blood work done, got tested for food allergies and even applied Bio-Identical Progesterone Cream. If someone or something promised to get rid of my water retention or Postpartum fat, then I tried it.  As fate would have it, not a single one of these triggered the weight to budge more than a pound. 

So what was going on with me?  Well, several things, some of which I eluded to at the top of this page and describe in depth in my ebook The Truth About Baby Weight.  Mainly, I had Vitamin and Mineral deficiencies, had become intolerant to a staple in my diet and one that widely considered a "health food", was not exercising in a way that tricked the Postpartum fat into burning (instead of storing) and had two organs that needed cleansing and detoxing in order to flush leftover toxins, fat and extra hormones.

1.  Post-pregnancy, your body is extremely deficient in 3 key Vitamins & Minerals.  Unless they are replenished with the proper amounts, then it will be very difficult to lose all of the baby weight. 

2.  Postpartum fat has to eventually be "tricked" into burning off as opposed to storing for your baby.  There are 4 main exercise styles that accomplish this.

3.  Most women find they cannot eat the same things they did (pre-pregnancy) without gaining weight.  This is mainly due to food intolerances (not allergies), which can show up during or after pregnancy.  Unless these food intolerances are addressed, then it is virtually impossilbe to lose the baby weight.  In some unaddressed cases, women actually steadily gain weight.

4.  One of the most uncomfortable parts of pregnancy is the constipation.  This happens for a lot of reasons, but the most important thing to know is that the colon (and other organs) must be cleansed and restored in order to work properly again.  If not, you could hold on to at least 2 extra pounds.
