This study found that the overweight individuals doing yoga for only 30 minutes per week actually lost 5 pounds, versus the overweight non-yoga participants that ended up gaining 14 pounds!

The first thing about Downward Dog is learning to ritualistically place your hands in alignment with your shoulders and hips.
