I’d like to share an amazing stress relief technique with you—one that’s changed my life…
I discovered this technique while walking the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage across Northern Spain (but don’t worry – you don’t have to do this).
What came out of this trip has helped me beyond measure—mind blowing, really—in every aspect of my life.
And I’d like to share this stress relief discovery with you, right now.
It’s so simple and easy, yet powerful for relieving stress over the long term.
I’m certain it can help you too.
It’s called the Stress Reset Method. If you’re looking for the most effective technique for immediate yet lasting stress relief, read this page very carefully.
(I should also mention that this same technique is the best way to get in shape—it’s an advantage that nature intended…more about that in a second.)
(Oh and what I mean by “in shape” is long, lean muscles, with a strong core.)
Is stress messing up your life? Is it stopping you from living to your potential?
Ask yourself if you:
Have trouble sleeping Have difficulty focusing Experience mood swings
What are you doing right now to manage your stress?
Have you tried meditation? Have you tried hard/intense exercise?
How have these methods worked for you so far?
Ask yourself again: What are you doing right now to manage your stress, and is it working?
Chances are it isn’t…and I might know why…
Let me introduce myself: My name is Matthew Arnold and I was recently in a similar position as you (actually, I’ve been stressed out for most of my adult life).
I tried meditation. I tried hard and intense forms of exercise.
Nothing seemed to work how I thought it should, at least not for the effort that it took.
That’s until I walked this pilgrimage and discovered the Stress Reset Method, which works just about every time. It’s also really easy to do and can be done daily (because stress occurs daily).
We all know what stress is…that feeling when:
You’re stuck in bumper to bumper traffic You have unrelenting demands from your boss You experience deep fears and worries like shame, guilt, losing your job, or a loved one (this is called internal stress and it might just be the worst kind) Etc…
So stress is really anything that encourages an action or better yet, a reaction from your own body—albeit emotional, physical, or mental.
Look—I’m not going to focus too much on the causes of stress (often called stressors), because you’re most likely already aware of what they are. You know when you’re stressed out—you can just feel it. Even if you can’t pinpoint it, it’s usually something to do with work-related pressures and demands, money difficulties, or not having a social support network (usually the case for men), or strained relationships (usually the case for women).
Now I’d like to quickly explain how I discovered this amazing stress relief technique.
OK, this will only take a minute…
So I spent the greater part of a month walking almost every single day (about 500 miles total) from the border of France all the way to the Northwest corner of Spain.
Sounds a bit crazy doesn’t it?
I know. I know.
I went on this journey, in part, because I had been totally stressed out from both work and life. (I get stressed very easily—I guess it’s my nature to stress out a lot.)
Many people embark on this journey for similar reasons. Many do it for what we call “soul searching.”
I was looking for spiritual, emotional, mental and physical solidarity. Really, I just wanted to stop stressing out all the time.
I literally wanted to strengthen myself, all around, if you know what I mean.
And that’s exactly what happened. Even more, this journey provided me with a treasure chest of life tools—one of the most important—the Stress Reset Method.
Anyhow, I’m letting you know about all this because during that pilgrimage…something magical happened…
-I got in great shape (stamina and energy increased)
-My body produced long lean muscles effortlessly
-My core was radically toned
-I felt better than I had felt in the past ten years…no stress wrapped up in my head whatsoever
It was truly amazing. It seriously blew my mind and the minds of my fellow pilgrims. Everyone commented on how lean and toned my body became after each passing week. Literally every time I’d dry off after a shower some guy next to me would comment something in their respective languages to signal that I was one fit dude. Long and lean muscles full of vitality.
The thing is—everyone leaned out.
It felt great.
I felt great.
I also felt like a wiser and improved version of myself (you know what I mean?). I felt solid not only on the outside, but on the inside. Little or big inconveniences didn’t seem to disturb me anymore. Nothing appeared to stress me out. I could handle it now.
Then I arrived back home. And the chronic stress buildup I previously had was totally gone.
Great!
It was as if my mind was totally cleared up. I felt like a new person—refreshed, alive, and superior to the “old me”. It’s like that post-vacation high that you get right when you return home, almost as if you were functioning on a completely new level. I experienced a heightened awareness that was carefree and content.
This was the good life.
This is what life is supposed to be like, I thought.
I felt like I could live to my potential.
I was solid, strong, and most important stress-free.
But after being home for a little bit I quickly returned to work…
And only three weeks later I was right back to where I started pre-pilgrimage; the “old me” was back. The “daily grind” robbed me of everything. All the progress that I so desperately wanted to hold onto just slipped through my fingers. I reverted to my “normal state”—stressed (and out of shape). Mild spells of depression snuck in and I felt and looked horrible.
This stress cycle continued for a while…
…there were some ups and downs…
That is, until I decided to stay at my parents’ house for three weeks while they were on vacation…which turned out to be a great idea.
Let me briefly explain why…
