Burn 20.2 calories per MINUTE of exercise!
Kettlebells burn at least 20.2 calories per minute, which is off the charts. Thatâs equivalent to running a 6-minute mile pace. The only other thing I could find that burns that many calories is cross country skiing up hill at a fast pace.â So at 20.2 Calories per minute that's 600 calories in a half an hour. And that doesnât even include the post exercises effect of the EPOC (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption) effect that we call the âafter burn" Don't work out longer! Work out smarter!
My Story:
6 years ago I was diagnosed with scoliosis in my lower back after dealing with 24/7 excruciating back pain for 4 years . So after countless chiropractic visits, massages, bowen therapy sessions and thousands of $, I started to look around for my own solutions. After many weeks of researching and reading articles I cam across one specifying the benefits to kettlebell training.
After having a taste of using kettlebells and feeling the improvements it made to my lower back and core I studied to become qualified. 4 years on after gaining my certification ad building my entire business with them, I found myself looking for more. This is where the Australian Institute of Kettlebells come in. After going through and extensive learning ( and still on-going process) process, I am now their lead presenter and educator for Tasmania, allowing me to provide many courses for trainers and constantly expanding my knowledge base from the best in the country.
