Interactive Map of France
This France map template coded in HTML5 and allows you to create your own custom interactive map and modify colors, links, etc to embed it in your website. The map is responsive and mobile friendly and cross browser compatible.
Map criteria
The template is easily customized through simple javascript file.Two versions are included;[Simple]: each region is linked to URL. [Advanced]: has an information box showing data of each clickable region.It doesn’t require special plugins to work so it is cross platform compatible i.e it works on modern devices including iPad and iPhone.Responsive;it fits in the device width without the need to scroll horizontally while preserving its quality.You can modify the style of each region, so you can change upcolor, hover color and click color of each region also you can enable/disable the region. You can also add HTML formatted data for each region as you can change the font color, size, style, underlineâ¦.etcYou can insert links, emails or show images.Compatible with major browsers including Google Chrome, Firefox, IE9+, Safari and Opera.Easily integrated with WordPress using any iFrame or HTML Snippets plugins.

Map regions Parameters
Each region has the following parameters:
name:region's name. capitalize it or small or use any text eg. "Franche-Comté" or "FRANCHE-COMTÃ".data:HTML formatted data appears in the text box when a user clicks this region (advanced version).url:Goto link (simple version).target:open link in new window:_blank, open in current window:_self (simple version).upcolor:regionâs normal color.overcolor:regionâs color when mouse hover.downcolor:regionâs color when mouse clicks.enable:true/false to enable/disable this region.
PS The 22 regions are arranged in alphabetical order as follow: Alsace, Aquitaine, Auvergne, Basse-Normandie, Bourgogne, Bretagne, Centre, Champagne-Ardenne, Corse, Franche-Comté, Haute-Normandie, Ile de France, Languedoc-Roussilion, Limousin, Lorraine, Midi Pyrénées, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Pays de la Loire, Picardie, Poitou-Charentes, Provence Alpes Côte D’Azur,and Rhône-Alpes.
