What the Experts say...
"I recently got my hands on a book that I personally think will take speed training to a new level. Travis Hansen hit a home run with his book called âThe Speed Encyclopedia!"
Lee Taft - World Renowned Speed Coach
[LeeTaft.com]
"The Speed Encyclopedia is a great resource for athletes and coaches. It provides everything one would need to increase speed. Travis does a great job at bridging the gap between theory and application. He explains in great detail exactly what and why things work, then shows you in great detail how to apply it.â
Kelly Baggett - World famous Performance Enhancement Coach
[Higher Faster Sports]
Skylar Schroeder
Skylar was a much slower and skinnier version of himself now a year and a half ago. He had decent speed at a high school level when he first started. He ran a fully electronic 5.24 second 40 yard dash. Flash forward a year and a half later and Skylar has Solid collegiate level acceleration by recording a 4.74 second 40. He gained 30 lbs. of muscle, and put 8 inches on his vertical jump as well. He was relentless and stuck with the program week in and week out and achieved fantastic results!
If you have come this far then you might be in search of learning how to become faster. With all of the conflicting research, techniques, and methods that always promise results, it becomes difficult too decipher who is telling the truth and who is being deceitful. With this can come a lot of frustration and confusion on how to take the next step. Trust me, whether you are reading this in an effort to develop speed in another, or for yourself, or trying a speed program for the first time, or if you have tried several other approaches in the past with lackluster results, I know exactly how you feel. These situations drove me to start a personal quest of vigorous and relentless research to find answers for developing speed approximately a decade ago.
The ultimate goal is to help people who are struggling with their speed gaining efforts and find a real solution. Furthermore, it took me quite a long time to establish a filter, test and experiment various theories, and locate the right scientific information that actually works for people. Fortunately, I feel extremely confident that I have developed a system that can deliver fast results for anyone, regardless of structure, age, experience level, sport, etc. The Speed Encyclopedia is a no non-sense, and no fluff approach to speed training. There are no fancy gimmicks or dying trends, just objective and unbiased training science that you can apply right away and be successful.

Accept your Genetics and Maximize your Speed potential!
Are there physcial factors that enable an elite sprinter to operate at a higher level than your average joe? Absolutely. There a number of physical traits that allow for greater speed. However, this only relates to a very small percentage of the population. I definitely believe The Bell Curve applies here. At one end of the spectrum you have elite guys and gals who just flat out fly, work their tail off, and have a good program, resulting in a lethal combination that is very hard to beat. On the other end of the spectrum, you have people who simply do not possess many of the genetic factors, nor do they express them well, and they will not make ridiculous gains. This also only applies to a very small percentage of the population. The rest of us, or the 80% fall right in the middle of the curve and battle it out. This is why a program such as this can make a big difference, because this poulation is pretty equal and the one with a better program and work ethic is going to get the edge. Many of these people have good speed genes and can adapt physically to becoming faster in a number of ways. The difference is going to be how you train.
Why at least 95% of conventional acceleration and speed programs fail.
I can count on one hand how many good well rounded speed programs that I've bought and seen on the market. The reason they fail is because they fail to realize that speed training is a total "Synergy," or collection of skill training, where one skill helps develop the other. The combination of them all create a greater effect than just one single skill alone. Whether its a lack of maximal strength training, specific speed training, abiding by speed principles, direct power training, a lack of proper nutrition, supplementation, and recovery, sprinting too much or too little, poor technique, a lack of size which promotes power, too much body fat, poor program design, etc., something is always missing or not implemented correctly. This program makes sure that no single piece to the speed development puzzle is missing!

What kind of gains can I expect?...
Unfortunately, this is not a program where I can guarantee a "specific" result in a current time-frame. Â For example, you can cut 3 tenths off your forty yard dash in 4 weeks, and so on. Current data indicates that nearly 2 dozen athletes utilizing this system have cut 3 to 5 tenths off of their 40 or 60 yard dash within 6 months using a Fully Electronic Timing System. This is the average. Some gain more and some less. There are simply too many variables out of my control that effect how we adapt to exercise such as; recovery and regeneration, sleep quality, stress, gender, age, nutrition, experience, motivation and focus, program complicance and effort, genetics, consistency, and more. Â However, no one single person to date has failed to make gains using this program, regardless of ability and skill level.

What the Pros say...
"After training with both the Cincinnati Bengals and University of Nevada strength staffs, and also Athletes Performance, which could arguably have the best athletic trainers in the country. I feel strongly that Travis has the knowledge and the ability to easily compare to all three. Within a few short weeks Travis improved my flexibility, improved my knowledge of both nutrition and recovery, and was a pleasure to work with. Its great to know that Iâve found a trainer for a long time to come."

Former NFL Quarterback

Warning!
This program is not for the fainthearted, nor is it for those looking for a magical pill or supplement that is going to magically make them faster. This program was specifically designed for males and females looking to unlock their speed and athletic potential. It is tough and challanging, and the type of results you see on this page only come with a tremendous work ethic and absolutely relentless mindset. If you stick to it week after week, and DO NOT deviate from the formula, then you will get great results. Please do not get cute and creative and tinker with anything in this book. All of it has been pre-calculated meticulously, so that it could deliver for you. If you do decide to change any aspect of the program do so at your own risk. Your progress will more than likely suffer at some point since there is so much careful thought that has been put into this over the years.
