CBT stands for cognitive behavior therapy. It's a non-drug form of psychotherapy many psychologists use to treat a whole bunch of conditions.
And as you can see from the parts I've placed in bold, CBT is more effective than drugs (pharmacotherapy) for curing insomnia; CBT is so effective that adding drugs with CBT provides no advantage over CBT alone; and unlike drugs, CBT is a permanent fix.
