Before I explain why everything works, let me share a little about me.  I am a registered nurse in Indiana and Illinois with a PhD in Education.  I am a Certified Image, Weight Management, and Nutrition and Wellness Consultant, a Master Hypnotist, and a Certified Hypnosis Weight Loss Specialist.  I am a Certified Professional in Health Care Quality a researcher, speaker, and Women’s Weight Loss Mentor.   But most importantly, after being obese my whole life, I safely and independently lost 145 pounds and I’ve kept it off since 2005.

Now I’m not going to tell you I helped thousands of fictitious people as you see in those phony sales letters.  With the current obesity stats, you and I know those phony testimonials are hype.  To be quite honest, I don’t think many people would even recognize me.  I’m somewhat of an introvert, probably an offshoot of the obesity.  In fact, I’m just now coming out of my shell.  My mother always said I was a late bloomer and I have to agree.  But I recently realized that I can’t help you hiding in my office.  In fact, I know that you are going to continue looking for the answer to your weight problem and you will waste a lot of money, time, and hopefully not your health on your weight loss this journey.  I’m also not going to tell you I have all the answers.  Nope.  You see I learned something through 22 years of adult education, I don’t have any of your answers, you do!

 

You Had the Answer All Along[]

That’s what I learned through my weight loss and PhD research.  After reaching my weight loss goal in 2005, I got scared.  I had gained and lost an estimated one thousand pounds in my lifetime.  Seriously I became quite skilled at weight loss.  But I wanted to keep it off.  So I tested myself.  I learned and applied all I could about weight management.   After I kept my weight off for one year, I wanted to help others do the same.

Some days the emotions were just too much.  As a registered nurse helping others live a healthy life is important to me and I was on a mission to do just that.  In fact, I became a nurse to save lives. 

In 2007 I returned to college to earn my PhD in Education.  I wanted to learn the right way to teach others how to lose weight and keep it off.  Even though I did it myself I wanted to see if my way worked for everyone.  During my studies I wanted to know why only 5% of the adult population kept their weight off.  Well after completing my research with other formerly obese women who independently reached and maintained their weight loss, it became obvious that we knew what to do all along. In fact, we were all experts at weight loss.   After all there is a science behind weight loss.  In short, calories in must be less than calories out.  The question was what made us part of the 5% that kept off our weight and how I could I help the other 95% that struggled?

I Was Wrong!  But Here’s What I Learned[]

When I conducted my research on formerly obese women who managed their weight loss, I learned that each of us did it our own way.  Some used a commercial plan, others only exercise, and others a combination.  But there was one secret revealed that we all shared.  The number one secret to keep your weight off is self-discovery.
