All future mothers understand that the first nine months of their baby’s life determine his future health and intellect. Every mother seeks to give her non-born child everything that is within her power. The scientists of different countries have been studying the difficult task of mothers and  have arrived at a conclusion that music for pregnant – specially collected classical and instrumental compositions – contribute to the good psychological state of a child and better training of his intellectual abilities.

Pregnancy is unique period of life of every woman. At this time the future mother feels frequent depression and  anxiety, everyday stress is accumulated. Specially selected wonderful relaxing music may reduce and defuse these negative moments. Therefore, music therapy is a good, useful, cheap and harmless way to strengthen psychological  health of the future mother not only during the pregnancy, but also after the childbirth.

Those kids who have had prenatal musical “education” are usually specified by the advance of the standard rates of physical and speech development as well as by the heightened adaptive abilities. It’s been determined that the musical stimulation of the brain improves its work.

It’s not a secret that the music of Mozart possesses therapeutic and developmental qualities. Many books and scientific articles have been written about it. “Mozart for Pregnant” contains the best compositions of this great composer intensified by the sounds of nature that produces a good after-listening effect.

How to listen correctly?
If you want your baby to hear the music better, you may put your earphones on the belly but  the sound shouldn’t be too loud and deep sounds should be turned off. It’s also possible to listen to it at a distance. The music for pregnant must be of high quality, without any extrinsic interfering noise (the best choice is the professional stereophonic recording that you may download here). While listening to music it’s recommended to imagine that it sounds only for you and your little one! It’s one of the secrets of success. It’s also good  to listen to music in the morning and in the evening – after and before going to bed.  The majority of musical therapists over the world supposes that musical therapeutic sessions are better to have with your eyes closed (“turn-off” of the visual analyzer considerably intensifies auditory perception), but if it’s hard to organize you may  do usual everyday work (easy cleaning – arrange everything on its place, make the bed) or watch some pictures or photos. Duration of every session of musical therapy must be 30-40 minutes, don’t make more than three sessions a day.

About Stepan

Stepan Sergeevich Nederica was born on 9 May, 1964 in Moldova on the very borderline of Moldova and Romania in a village with beautiful name Buzhor, translated from Moldavian “peony”. From the cradle he applied himself to music. He took first music classes from his granny Feodosia who had brought him up from the birth till he was 4. Day-and-night she used to sing lullabies and Moldavian folk songs to him. It was the only way to calm him down, otherwise Stepan started singing himself and that was a real hardship as beholders say. Down to the age of 4 he became a member of family band where he performed as percussion player. The band staff included: mother Aurika - accordion, uncle – bayan, father Sergei – harmonica, sister Rodika – dances. Hardly surprising that up to the age of 10 he started to get tremendous pleasure from performing and listening to the music. Just then he entered the School of Music of the town of Kotovsk, which was located at the distance of 50 kilometers form his village. After school he went there 3 times per week and took classes in playing the cembalos. After he had graduated from the School of Music and the 8-th form of Moldavian secondary school he entered R.M.Glier Kyiv State Higher Music College. When being a sophomore, he started to teach in the Music School №8 of the city of Kyiv. On completing the Music College he was admitted to the Kyiv Chaikovsky State Conservatory, departments of instrumentalist – performing musician and bandmaster. Upon graduating from the conservatory he continued the pedagogical career in the Music School; at the same time he worked in the Institute for Scientific Research , where he studied the effect music produces for organism. After the collapse of the USSR he worked in Kyiv Philharmonic Hall and performed on various tours throughout the world. In November, 2003 he opened ‘Konovalov Audio-Therapy Club’ in Kyiv, as an expression of his gratitude to the doctor Sergei Konovalov, who helped him with his wife to realize their dream. Notably, after they had undertaken a treatment session according to the Doctor’s methodic, they gave birth to a little angel – their son Serezha, after they had spent 16 years on the rack. For providing meetings in the club, Stepan obtained a license of musical practitioner and started to heal people with music. It is the most amazing and marvelous business, where person can be involved. The more he deepened into the studying of the phenomenon of musical effect upon a human being, the more he admired the genius of nature. It turned out that classic music as well as the sounds of nature possesses the same high-frequency vibrations. Birds’ singing, voices of dolphins and whales, the diversity of aquatic sounds, chirping of grasshoppers and crickets - all these natural sounds have tremendous therapeutic effect. When Stepan realized that, he started to make special phonograms, in which he combined extraordinarily beautiful classic music with the music of nature. The results exceeded all his expectations. People who came to musically- therapeutic sessions started to recover faster. Speaking of the inner state of their souls after sessions, they called it not otherwise than exultant. Just those facts acted as a fillip and Stepan decided to systematize all results for a ten-year-term of his musically- therapeutic activity, to obtain author’s right and to produce for great masses of population. All his discs were previously tested during the sessions. And now it is a universal manual for domestic music therapy.
