Geoffrey Owens, from The Cosby Show, hosts the new web program, The
Witness to Miracles and Angels Show where he explores the universal

The unusual history of RISINGSTAR31 PRODUCTIONS began in 2005, when
Pamela Sherrod teamed up with Altovise Davis to create inspirational
films for youth. They hoped to fulfill a request made by her husband,
the late Rat Pack star, Sammy Davis, Jr. He’d never attended school
and urged his wife to find ways to promote education. The two women
wrote _A Detour to Mexico,_ a dynamic musical that delivered the
message. But, they made the mistake of putting it in the wrong hands.
The plot was ‘borrowed’ by a major studio that produced a
record-breaking hit movie without them.
The ultimate disaster, however, came three years later. Pam and
Altovise had just formed a company to produce the film, themselves,
when Mrs. Davis died suddenly. Then, within only 35 days, Pam lost her
fiancé after he’d mistakenly believed that she was leaving him. It
was the darkest period of Pam's life. Overwhelmed by guilt and sorrow,
she began a desperate search for answers, a quest that would lead her
to an unexpected place. She was given a magnificent glimpse from
heaven and a miracle that was far beyond anything she thought was
possible. Pam learned that, through the power of Christ's love, we
have access to heaven and our loved ones who’re there. She realizes
that it's a wonderful blessing that was meant to be shared with
others, especially those who're dealing with painful losses in their
lives. "God is real," she says. "And so is heaven." Pam's goal is to
help others develop the eyes and ears that are required to experience
it. And the key, she discovered, was in the Bible.
Pam's company, RISINGSTAR31, creates inspirational documentaries,
books and future films. She recently produced the first episode of the
web show,_ The Witness to Miracles and Angels_, which is hosted by
Geoffrey Owens, from _The Cosby Show._ It's a documentary series
that's offered to subscribers and members of The Witness Group, a
support system organized to offer comfort and inspiration to those
who've experienced painful losses in their lives. Their vision is to
facilitate supportive gatherings, online and off, where people can
meet and share miracle stories about 'the reality of eternity.'
Members of the Witness Group (and The Witness Support Group) will
often be interviewed for guest appearances on the show.
Pam also released, _The Witness to Hollywood and Heaven_, the first
of a five-part series of e-books that chronicle the amazing miracles
that she experienced, before and after her fiance's death. She notes
that "It's one of those rare books that's co-authored from 'the other
side,' and offers proof that heaven is much closer than you think!"
