Running On The Treadmill For An Hour a Day Is The Best Way
To Lose Weight!

Let me blow this myth STRAIGHT OUT OF THE WATER right now.

Slow, long distance cardio is not that effective for building a six
pack. I mean who actually has time to run on the treadmill for an hour
a day anyway?

The truth is, long bouts of cardio actually consume your tissue –
in other words, apart from burning fat, LONG CARDIO ALSO BURNS
MUSCLE...

...and only creates an afterburn effect of about 3-4 hours.

And if you don’t believe me, take a look at long-distance runners
– notice how YOU’LL NEVER SEE A MUSCULAR LONG-DISTANCE RUNNER and
that no matter how slender they are, they rarely have defined,
sculpted abs!

A co-incidence?

Absolutely not!

In fact

That’s because when you do short, intense bursts of cardio the way
sprinters do, your body creates something known as EPOC (EXCESS
POST-EXERCISE OXYGEN CONSUMPTION).

EPOC creates a greater demand on the body and DRAMATICALLY INCREASES
YOUR METABOLISM after training compared to how your body reacts after
a steady state/aerobic session...

Which physique would you rather have, a long distance runner or a
sprinter?

HERE’S THE THING – WHEN YOU DO EXERCISES WHICH CREATE AN EPOC,
THE AFTERBURN EFFECT LASTS BETWEEN 24-48 HOURS!

This means high intensity exercise is at least 800% more effective at
generating the AFTERBURN EFFECT - which is crucial for creating a

But sadly, that just NEVER happened!

I couldn’t understand why, despite my best efforts, my abs were
getting bigger, not leaner and more ripped!

washboard stomach as I was, you’ll try anything to make that

fat off your stomach – while you sleep”?

Or how about all those wonder weight-Loss plans that seem to crop up

magical weight-loss?

YEAH I FELL FOR THAT STUFF TOO...

I tried everything because I was looking for the “silver bullet”
- the magic formula for six-pack abs. I didn't want to wait for
results - I wanted them instantly!

Believe you me, I found out the hard way that there's no such thing!

If anyone tells you there's a “Secret Method to Six-Pack Abs” -
run away as fast as you can...

Because that too is a myth!

There's only one way to get great abs – and that’s to start with
a “holistic” approach.

What do I mean when I say ‘holistic’?

Holistic literally means looking at your whole body – both
internally with the food you consume and externally with the exercises
you do...

Only THEN will you see a difference in your body!

The thing is, here’s another secret you should know...

The two are NOT the same!

Let me explain...

When you lose weight, you’ll typically lose water weight as well as
some muscle and some fat.

When you focus on fat loss only, you DON’T LOOK AT HOW MUCH WEIGHT
YOU’VE LOST, RATHER HOW LITTLE OR HOW MUCH FAT YOU HAVE COVERING
YOUR BODY.

When you’re training to get a six-pack, it’s common to drop a few
waist sizes, but you won’t have lost any weight...

How so?

Because muscle is denser than fat, which means that A POUND OF MUSCLE
IS SMALLER AND MORE COMPACT THAN A POUND OF FAT...

But dropping fat and increasing muscle will help you get lean and
sculpted and you won’t necessarily see a change in the scales!

So DON’T believe anyone when they tell you that you must lose
weight to get defined abs...

I’ve seen it time and again – seemingly slender people
complaining that they can’t define their abs despite working out...

When in truth, THEY STILL HAVE A LAYER OF FAT OVER THEIR BELLY WHICH
IS WHY THEY CAN’T SEE ANY DEFINITION!

It’s not rocket science once you know the REAL truth about abs!

But ten years of being a GYM-JUNKIE and going to the gym every day
and STILL not seeing any definition in my abs really made me wonder
