We all have different motivations for getting fit and I have never met a person who doesn’t want to be fit and look great. This is where I can help.

My name is Matt Straight, an international fitness trainer, nutritionist, and creator of the Fitness HC's 12 week body transformation system.

For many years I struggled with my weight and I know firsthand how being overweight can affect your confidence, your health, your relationships, the way society sees you and ultimately, how it affects your overall quality of life. In 2003, I completed a certificate in nutrition at the Auckland Institute of Technology. I started prescribing specific nutrition to his clients to help them accelerate their results.

I have also earned certification as a master trainer and have had the chance to educate others to become personal trainers themselves. I have managed gym clubs in Cebu, Manila, India, and Australia.

Now I'm not here to tell you that losing weight is easy, because it's not. It takes a real commitment and the right knowledge to make it happen.

If you are not eating the right balance of food and burning more calories than you are consuming, you will not lose weight. And if you are burning too many calories and not eating enough food, you will not lose weight.

Losing weight is in credibly simple if you have the right information.

You know, it's hard to kick a goal if you don't know where the goal posts are and no one has even shown you how to kick a ball. So my mission is to give you the tools to understand your body and learn how to trick it into letting go of unwanted body fat. And this is why I have developed the 12 week body transformation system. How does the 12 week body transformation system work?

First off, let’s talk about why eating more smaller meals is more beneficial than just a few large meals:



Eating 6 smaller meals a day as opposed to 3 larger ones, makes it much easier for your body to burn and utilize the food as opposed to storing it. 

But it’s not just about how many times you eat in a day, You also have to pay attention to what you put in your mouth!

Indeed, the key to maintaining a fit body without starving yourself is CONSISTENCY.

Every great body you see on TV or on any media are all products of DEDICATION. These are people who did not let go of their dreams of becoming sexier and healthier. All of them made a COMMITMENT to CHANGE for the BETTER.

I have never recommended STARVATION as a means of losing weight. It’s not just UNHEALTHY, it’s also RISKY. When the body goes into starvation mode, instead of letting go of fat, your body stores that fat! The weight you lose when you go into a starvation diet is quite often muscle mass, not fat. So, the very moment you stop starving yourself, the excess weight comes back.

One of the many keys to losing weight is eating a proper balance of proteins, good fats and low glycemic carbs to boost your metabolism. Having a higher metabolism, makes your body burn more calories, even when you are not exercising.



Around 4 hours after your last meal, your body starts thinking that it’s not going to be fed again. So, your brain sends a message to your body to shut down and go into a state of starvation. The body starts storing as much fat as it can, just in case there is no more available food. So instead, make sure you eat every 3 to 4 hours. By eating every 3 to 4 hours, it sends a message to the brain that there is always enough food available so the body will use it for fuel and burn it off instead of storing it.
