begin to disappear. This process typically starts within 30-40 days
after the initial stimulus.

BODYBUILDING SECRET NUMBER 2: MUSCLES GROW DURING THE BUILD-UP PHASE,
OUTSIDE THE GYM WHILE YOU REST

Muscles recover during the compensation phase and GROW during the
super-compensation phase while you are resting and AWAY from the gym.

The only way to build muscle quickly is to always allow this phase to
go to full completion.

3 THINGS YOU CAN LEARN FROM THIS:

_1. If you train your muscles again before the compensation process
is complete, _then you have effectively “over-trained.” Your
muscles are not recovered to the point they were at before your
workout.

_2. If you train your muscles before the completion of the
super-compensation phase, _then you will actually gain less muscle
than you could have if you allowed the process to complete itself.

_3. If you train your muscles right at the beginning of the
super-compensation phase,_ when the compensation phase has just ended,
then you gain nothing. Your muscles remain at the point they were at
before the previous workout, and you will experience next to zero
growth.

yet each of those programs targets only 1 or 2 of the components of
muscle size while others target different components that require
different training!

3 PROTEIN LIES THE BODYBUILDING INDUSTRY DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW

EVERYBODY PREACHES EAT MORE, BUT YOU ARE NOT A COW TO BE STUFFED ALL
DAY LONG.

LIE NUMBER 1: PROTEIN IS THE MAIN THING YOU NEED TO BUILD MUSCLES.

Stuffing yourself with protein is like hoping that if you put a bunch
of bricks in front of a foundation they will jump up and arrange
themselves into a house.

WHO WILL BUILD A HOUSE FASTER:

A GUY WITH 1000 BRICKS AND 10 WORKERS,

OR

A GUY WITH 1000 BRICKS AND 100 WORKERS?

Protein is only one of the things crucial to muscle building. You
need protein for building muscles (bricks), but you need bricklayers
to build that protein into muscles.

You do need protein, but it will DOWN REGULATE if you get to eat too
